I'm surprised they are still making some changes to ARAM. It's good to see at least they are still working on balance in this game, although I haven't played HotS in a long time.

While having more body options would be nice (for every race), these big guys are not Dracthyr. They are Drakonids, so it would be rather strange to have them as an option for Dracthyr. That being said, they should work more on Dracthyr to make all armor pieces visible and not just for their visage form.

All according to plan! 😎 I mentioned it before on this site, but giving the same dynamic flight to non-winged and mechanical mounts is going to look weird. And they did! It looks funny when flying ships and mechs are "flapping" their non-existent wings.

They only changed some of these random npcs when they introduced more customization options. No one from the main cast was changed. Matthias might have been bisexual, so this might not be a change. Flynn was confirmed as bi before. Chromie is most likely a retcon, but her short story also seemed like a one. Dragons simply assumed different forms whenever they needed them, they never had any celebration of just choosing their non-draconic form. Woke has no meaning, because now people use this word for whatever they don't like. Original meaning of woke is to be aware of racial and systemic discrimination, and opposing it. I'm curious, how would you define "woke"? Because it has nothing to do with "turning my video game characters gay". Did we? A lot of the older shows have aged badly, for example there used to be a popular stereotype of "funny black friend" just inserted into these movies. Tokenization in media is nothing new, but people today who call almost everything "woke" often are doing so for malicious reasons.

Kobolds generally aren't very intelligent and other races view them as pests. I think it would have been rather strange to have them playable, but they are certainly something different appearance-wise. Bipedal Nerubians, other than story issues you mentioned, have rather non-standard model. So there would be a problem with fitting armor on them, unless we would get another Dracthyr situation. Arathi are the easiest to implement, but we would just get another human.

Does it stop at 5?

To be honest, if nothing else I'd hope they'd give updated models to the makura and crabs given we're going into the heart of the nerubian empire so it isn't just a bunch of low res models running around such a highly detailed area. It'd look so out of place.
