I think it is a bit misleading.

It should be that you NEVER jab when MM is active.

Dumping chi into TP is fine, but you get more effect with MM up.

My suggestion is if you're max, you can go down 1 chi without MM, thus allowing you to jab->TP repeatedly.

What you will end up doing is hovering around 2 - 3 chi so that you don't cap from using RM and EH on CD, which means you will weave in BoK pretty often.

Hi guys, great guide and these have really helped me.

I'm fairly new to MW and just had a question about something on the guide. It says to only use Tiger's Palm if you have Muscle Memory active, but then it says you can use Tiger's Palm to dump Chi.

Now lets say I'm in a situation where there's low to no damage, and i have max Chi. Should I just dump my Chi with TP? Since I'm already at max Chi, I'm not going to Jab, thus not proccing Muscle Memory. So all of those Jabs will be without MM, which the guide stated I should never do. If I DO jab, I'll get MM, but I won't be dumping Chi.

So I was just confused as that part of the guide seemed to contradict itself without further explanation.

Thanks!

Disc is overpowered.  But really it depends on content and gear disparity.  Don't worry about meters too much unless you're wiping to mechanics because of healing and you have similar gear levels.

It's my honest opinion that mistweaver is underpowered at the moment compared to other classes, but if you want me to examine what you're doing please provide logs and make a new topic in the mistweaver section.

Should I be able to beat priests on the meters?  because usually priest provide far superior healing, sometimes i lose to druids as well.

If you spam click (or press) your soothing mists button it gives you more chi than just channeling it. You can do that for some more chi generation.

From what I can tell its basically pointless for me to cast Soothing Mist unless one of these conditions are met right?

A.  I need to heal someone specific that isnt the lowest hp target

B.  I need to do some heavier heals like Enveloping Mist or Surging Mist

Is that correct? because it seems like doing damage provides more healing than just soothing mist by itself.

is it possible for me to go into proving grounds in my boosted set and achieve basic healer (gold)?

Edit: Yup

Thanks guys getting rid of the mana tea glyph made a big difference.

Yea crit gives you more mana tea and you SHOULD NOT glyph mana tea.

crit gives a chance to gain a second mana tea charge when one is generated.

At first I was confused by your post but then I realized the first guide I read told me to use the glyph of mana tea I completely forgot about it.  Without that 10 second cooldown that would certainly make a difference.   Thanks!

ooooh lol that makes much more sense now =P

why crit for mana? do you mean just for the bigger heals?

crit gives a chance to gain a second mana tea charge when one is generated.
