Recently i obtained the bonus 2p of tier 17 and i have a doubt about it. When i use my frozen orb, i dont know if i must do my normal rotation or cast 10 Ice Lance, even i havent proc up of Fingers of Frost until i have 10 stacks of proc of the tier. I would know if when i cast my frozen orb i have to cast only ice lance for reach the 10 stack of the tier bonus or i have to use my normal rotation. If not, then there is a good reason for that.. :) Spamming random ice lances is a huge waste of dps. I'm sure that our admins did the simcrafts, and they would've mentioned if you have to alter your rotation. And even then: go to a training dummy and test it :) if your experience is that you should spam Ice Lances, I'll do some simcrafts and tests as well. I currently have the choice of using 670 and 685 chest and bracers respectively or switch to 665 set pieces for both and I'm not exactly sure if I should forego the set bonus for higher ilvl or not.
