As a mele class you will want to get as much DPS put out in the begining as possible. After you get 3 or 4 of the "split offs" you will want to kite Blat around by walking backwards to help minimize your damage taken. On my Arms warrior I just popped sweeping strikes and Bladestorm after a few splits and then used a potion when I started to drop low.

Paladin Strategy:

Use your burst early, right after you get inquisition up + 3 HP

Stun him as you do so. This will ensure minimized damage.

When the first round of copies appear, use blind. This gives you an extra few moments to ice him down. Bubble toward the end of the blind.

After this it's just about one length down the arena of kiting and using judgement/exorcism/hammer.

(Keep sacred Shield up the entire time, though as this will mitigate around half of the damage from the original blat)

Like most of the bosses up to this point space is key. I used psychic scream on cd for this fight to get space from all the blobs. Make sure you don't AOE as it is not important to damage the other blobs. Keep up your DOTS and keep moving. pretty easy fight I have glyphed so that my renew and pom don't knock me out of shadow. have fun

Retribution Paladin

I recommend a build of 213223. Most of the talent options can be interchanged but this is my preferred method and makes good use of the burst that Rets have available. Remember that with a 2 minute enrage timer the T14 4 set bonus will not help, so if you have other pieces that are superior itemization use them instead. The 2 set bonus is still beneficial if you have it. As is the case with most fights in the brawlers guild you will be attacking the boss from the front a majority of the time which means being hit capped and expertise capped (up to the hard cap) is the best way to improve DPS. Use Sacred Shield before the boss spawns to get the shield rolling and also make sure to use Hammer of the Righteous to keep up the Weakened Blows effect. I like Glyph of Divine Protection and Glyph of Templar's Verdict for the damage mitigation and Glyph of Avenging Wrath for the heal. I do not pre-pot on this fight as he should be dead before a minute anyhow and it is more efficient to pot at the same time that you use Avenging Wrath and Guardian of Ancient Kings.

For me the key is to keep your DoTs on Blat as well as Starfall whenever available. Start strong, when the first Starfall ends I used Cellestial Allignement to restart it and it also helps you apllying your DoTs. I have to mention that I have a talent point on Typhoon which helped me to keep the other blobs away from me and while moving I applied rejuvenation to regain some health.

Just did this fight as a frost death knight.

When it starts, immediately popped pillar and army and threw DoTs. Continued to backpedal and hit with oblit / frost strike. When he stopped, I'd spam howling blast on him until he caught up, then continue with oblit and frost strike, managed to kill him with about 30 seconds to spare.

Warrior method:

General tactics (All fights):

Ideally you are wanting the Second Wind talent, along with Avatar, as it has the highest overall damage boost. (There are some fights where Bloodbath is better - But it will be stated further into this post on the "Fight-Specific Tactics" part).

You should also be making sure to, of course, have Mass Spell Reflection (As the other two Tier 5 talents can't affect you), and at least two Potion of Brawler's Might per fight.

Pre-potting with Potion of Brawler's Might is the best idea (Hence owning two per fight) and then using the next one as soon as it's ready, alongside all of your DPS cooldowns.

Most other benefits are negligible until higher up fights or your gear is lower than average (I'm working with full 463 or better gear - As that's what I had until reaching Rank 7).

Fight-Specific Tactics (Blat):

You want to avoid, at all costs, movement-speed reducing effects (Glyph of Hindering Strikes, Bloodbath, and Piercing Howl) - As they will just cause you to have to be closer to the adds the boss will spawn to remain dealing your full damage output.

When you use all of your DPS Cooldowns with the second Potion of Brawler's Might, also use Die by the Sword, so you don't have to worry about running around to stay alive - But keep an eye on when it runs out and put some distance between you and his adds when it's got around 2 seconds remaining.

Windwalker Monk

You will want to make sure you use monk_ability_fistoffury.jpgFists of Fury on cooldown in addition to your normal rotation. As the slimes slowly creep up on you they will become stunned (provided they are approaching you from the front). I brought Blat to the far edge of the arena and backpedaled along the perimeter. Biggest thing is to make sure you don't move outside of melee. My item level is 478 (with no tier gear) and I came very close to the enrage timer. Using roll in this fight is a definite no-no unless you are being swarmed, but if you slow kite him along the outside this should not happen.

Hunter: Blat as you run around in a circle around him. Blat will spawn his copies in the middle and they will stay there. Blat, being slowed, will try to chase you and won't be able to, sticking him in the middle too. Just dps Blat and you're home free as long as you keep an eye on the berserk timer

I did this on a 529 survival Hunter. I layed down my traps as soon as I entered the arena, but before Blat spawned. As soon a he spawned, I set my pet on him using the Hunters Mark, and then just burned him down while I walked backward around the arena, avoiding his melee attacks and the Blat copies. At about 30% I popped Stampede, and that was that. I didn't need to use any heals.

As a guardian druid this fight is easy if you have good enough gear, when I did this I was item level 500. Make sure to use the agility brawlers potion with berserk, making sure to use mangle as much as possible for the duration of berserk. Otherwise just use your normal rotation, keeping dots up. If you need to heal the typhoon talent can be helpful as it will knock all of the blats backwards. Heal then go back in bear form asap as the blats come back.

I completed this with a 492 Feral Druid.  Just kited him around the outer edge of the ring, kept the bleeds up and dps'd him down.

I would like to add that as a guardian druid this is a gearcheck.

The enrage is scarier than the damage, and i think that a gearlevel of 510 with a strong emphasis on agi would be a must.

In personal experience i got him down to 3% before the enrage went off with a 507 average and a weapon of 522.

Save all your defensive cooldowns untill you notice that yseras gift doesnt heal enough anymore, starting off with barkskin since the 1 min cool will be up again in a later part of the fight. Spend all your rage on maul and just do your rotations as tight as possible.

(Also dont forget: a guardan does more damage as a bear than a cat, so don't bother starting off as cat)

HI There, I have an answer for Beast Mastery Hunters! First get a Corehound pet [Anicent Hystreria] is very good then before he spawns place all the traps you can, pop Hero then attack with everything, Glaves, Bestial Wrath, Dire Beast, Kill Command, even down to Arcane Shot, recharge your focus then repeat until Blat is jam :3

for the others I don't know sadly :c

I hope this helps

Hello, im a Hunter that just did this fight, i noticed you didnt have any feedback on the fight video page. Basically i just put my pet on him, and kited him around the outside of the ring so all his little globs stayed in the middle when they followed him and just dped him down, glaived and multi shotted in my rotation just for giggles :)

Elemental Shaman - I used heroism and ascendence right off the bat. I dropped earthbind, used thunderstorm, and spiritwalker's grace to keep the adds away when they got close.

At least at this time that I did it, this boss was a reddish, dark blob called Splat. He left puddles on the ground aside from aforementioned stuff.

I believe it changes depending on the current season, or if it is a challenge boss rather than a rank one
