Hi

I was wondering if now with bonus proc eviscerates from combat p4 shadow reflection is viable now for single target or is venom rush still best pick.

Well, it STILL RNG. Sometimes you may get miraculous procs for an hour, sometimes you may get nothing. I think on overall VR still better, since you'd be able to use SR only each 2 mins and VR is active all time.

yea i was thinkinking smth like get 5cp and  4 anticipation stacks than pop ar>sr>evi x 2>get back 5cp and hit next evi which with proc should give me like 3 ss and 4 evi in that 8 secs which imho is quite chunk of dmg and vr is still only 5% energy regen

5% on single target. 15% on 3 or more, which where you should be using Combat.

I'll leave for Carrn to explain this, perhaps he has some better insight than I do.

There's just a few problems with SR as Combat

1) You don't have any huge damage phase where you can really take advantage of the spike from your Clone.

As Combat, most of your damage comes from repeated / smaller hits when compared to Sub. Your only real spike is based around your Insight levels and your KS. If you were to get 4 Evis casts and KS off inside SR with Deep Insight up then yes I would agree that it's probably good - but delaying any cooldown as Combat isn't a good idea, and it's near impossible to line up

2) A lot of your damage comes from white hits

the Clone doesn't auto attack. Due to this, your clone's damage doesn't benefit from your Mastery (free offhand hit) or give you energy regen (from your offhand hits). This is even more of an issue when Blade Flurry is up, since a larger percentage of your damage comes from white hits due to the reduced energy regen

3) No Blade Flurry

Combat's strength is in how well it cleaves. I could be wrong, but I don't believe that your Clone benefits from Blade Flurry at all. Regardless, the reduction in energy regen from Blade Flurry means that you'd get off drastically less skills while your Clone is up, which means it does drastically less damage

The other thing is, as Lip said, that Combat is still weaker than Sub on single target fights. 5% Haste isn't so great, I agree, but on fights where Combat is most effective, you aren't only up against 1 target

I heard that with the new 4 set Shattering Strikes would be better than Runic Attunement but after simming my self its around 15-20K lower. I was wondering does simming take into account that the 4 set applies Razorice? If not then that'll make sense as to why SS is doing worse than RA. I dont have the 4 set yet I was just simming myself with it to see if SS was actually better with the 4 set.

After today's nerf to Tier-20 (ToS) the balance druid still goes 4 - T20  and 2 - T21 or we will now take the 4 pieces from T21?
      Thank you!

Hey guys, I have all 6 tier items (heroic, some WF). My hands are 895, but got a 905 item from mythic chrono.
      Using
      ( Pawn: v1: "Blood": Class=DeathKnight, Spec=Blood, CritRating=4.57, HasteRating=7.57, MasteryRating=3.07, Versatility=6.07, Strength=9.07, Stamina=12.07 )
(Bad I know, got the numbers from Noxxic, but just swapped mastery and crit around. Matches the balanced priority, been working for me so far lol). Not a bleeding edge raider.
      Current setup

      Proposed setup

Did multiple AMR sims with both setups, and averaged it, and each time 4pc comes out a little ahead. Using Krosus as setup.

I'm thinking it;s the versatility on the tier hands that is making the difference, not so much the 25% chance at a rune?
      Thoughts, opinions, Thanks!

Hey all I'm a returning player and finally hit 110 on my death knight yesterday. I am currently playing a frost dk, but I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. Unholy on the other hand looks pretty sweet... but from what I hear they are in a bad state atm. This might be to early to speculate, but anyone know if buffs are coming this next patch? Should I reroll now before I invest thousands of AP into frost relic? As cool as unholy looks, don't want to play a doomed spec...

      Dear Forums,
Long time lurker, first time poster here asking for some advice on raising my dps to a more acceptable bracket because the guild I'm in is starting Heroic HFC and everyone has to do their part. But mostly because the mages in my raid group are crushing the dps charts and my self esteem.

I'll start by putting the necessary info on the post, here's my character page with the equipment I'm currently using (I don't have mane good trinkets so I don't swap out unending hunger with Rolling Pebble):
      http://www.askmrrobot.com/wow/player/eu/los_errantes/shantae

      And here's my past performances:
      https://www.warcraftlogs.com/guilds/87795

Despite there being some halfway decent results (Tyrant Velhani on the 28th), I'm averaging a %lvl bracket of 30 and 42k dps (on the good days).

This wouldn't bother me so much if it was not for the fact that currently:
-I have the 4 piece T18 set bonuses
-The rest of the slots are filled with Mything Dungeon goodness, ranging from 710 to 725.
-I have a warforged Empty Drinking Horn.

So I can't blame my low numbers on gear alone anymore, which means that the problem is me.
The boss guide I have been using has been this one:
      http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3657441833

The rotations, talents and glyphs have been copied down to a T, although, to avoid desynching my cd's I always use Final Veredict with Execution Sentence and Avenging Wrath every minute if I feel like the battle is too hectic to keep track of everything.

Another thing about me is that I have no keybindings whatsoever. It's something that I admit but until I know how much time I can save on memorizing my bindings I'm not in any rush to start training. Consider it one of my many flaws.

And now we come to the reason why I'm asking the forums for help: I'm missing something and I have no idea what it is (please don't say "a brain") so I'd like to ask the more seasoned vets to rip me a new one and tell me what should I be working on ASAP.

      Cheerio.
