May brings about Hearthstone's 14th official season, and the card back theme for this month is Go Ninja, Go! Ranked play resets once per month, and bonus stars based on the previous month's progress are awarded when you first log in after the seasonal reset.

The card art and details follow:

The fourteenth official Hearthstone Ranked Play Season is now live—and we’re unveiling a new card back you can add to your collection!

BELIEVE IT! Master the shadows and silently pursue your prey opponents up the Ranked Play Ladder with the cunning Ninja card back. You can only earn this card back by playing Hearthstone during the month of May.

These card backs replace the art decorating the reverse side of your cards and are a great way to show off your Hearthstone accomplishments. Add the Ninja card back to your collection by hitting Rank 20 in Ranked Play mode. You’ll receive the Ninja card back at the end of May’s Ranked Play Season.

Don’t forget—the further you move up the Ranked Play ladder, the more bonus stars you’ll receive next season. In Ranked Play, you’ll receive bonus stars based on your performance from the previous season —one bonus star per rank you attained. Please note that even if bonus stars from the previous season get you directly to Rank 20 or above, you still have to log in at least once each Ranked Season to qualify for the card back reward.

The top 100 Legend players for the May Ranked Play season will also accrue points towards qualifying for the Hearthstone World Championship. For more information on how you can become the next Hearthstone World Champion, please visit our Hearthstone World Championship blog here.

Practice your ninjutsu and master your Ranked Play skills in our fourteenth official Ranked Play Season, Go Ninja, Go!, running through the month of May!

We have a new Tavern Brawl this week! Its name is Spellbook Duel.
For this Brawl, you choose your class and then you pick 10 different cards to fill your deck. Instead of drawing cards each turn, you Discover a copy of a card from your deck. If you use card drawing mechanics, like Arcane Intellect, you don't actually draw from your deck. You will, in fact, get a 1-mana spell called Peruse, which again allows you to Discover a copy of a card from your deck.
Obviously, there are a lot of possible deck combinations you can use to tackle this new Tavern Brawl. The first things that pop into mind are anything that contains Reno Jackson and Kazakus, as well as Jade Druid to extend the possibility of getting these precious Jade Idols. Once again, Mage is the clear winner of this Brawl with cards like Sorcerer's Apprentice, Arcane Intellect and Flamewaker.
Bear in mind that some cards are not recommended, since they remove cards from your Discover pool. Examples are Fel Reaver and Tracking. Moreover, cards that put another card directly into play, like Mysterious Challenger and Mad Scientist, will also make your Discover pool smaller. Lastly, according to a Reddit user, Renounce Darkness won't deduct 1 mana from the cards you discover throughout the game.
There are already a lot of disgusting decks for Spellbook Duel out there. We are waiting for your suggestions and any other useful info in the comments!
