Enhance Gearing

Hi Guys

 

Im looking for some help from you fine enhance shamans out there.

 

I changed main at the start of HFC due to being bored on my old main. I am now maining enhance but my shaman had no gear. I have worked hard to get apex upgrades, pvp items, boes and craft items to gear up fast so I can get back to raiding in the main team.

So after last nights hc raid I am now 699 but I dont have any tier 17 or 18 and but secondary stats are a bit crap. I also have 2 craft trinkets at 5/6.

 

If I drop back down to BRF HC would the tier 17 set still be a upgrade even though its lower ilvl?

 

Any help would be great.

The tier 17 enhancement set bonus wasn't super strong. You would be better off sticking with the higher gear ilvl and trying to get the Tier 18 set bonus (better than 17). Now certainly the BRF H trinkets might be a better replacement for now but even then just doing hellfire normal would get you stronger trinkets without a huge ilvl drop.

 

TL;DR: The tier 17 set bonus isn't worth crippling your ilvl.

Thanks for the help, il keep my time spent on gearing in HFC and hopefully wont be long in getting the my 4 set
