Are you sure you miss Loatheb? In that case you also miss Shades. You could try this deck, it has no Naxx and LoE.

I have Big Game Hunter instead of one Naxxramas and 1 living roots instead of 1 Azure Drake. Is that acceptable?

Any other legendaries (or big bodies) that would be suitable replacements for Boom? Right now I have Kel'Thuzad because he's an immense soft-taunt with a great effect, but I feel like something like Chromaggus or a finisher like Ragnaros might also be good.

Boom is great in this deck cause bots are roar targets too. With 2 ancients of lore I don't think you'd need chromaggius, and rag isn't strong enough until (if ever) we stop seeing bgh. Ancient of war would probably be my suggestion (Kel seems so good, but I can never seem to make him work).

 

Do mounted raptors have any place in this deck?

I feel like this deck is very well put together. Gave it a spin on ranked and climbed a solid 3 ranks in one streak. Haven't encountered any real control decks, however, so this observation is only based on midrange and aggro opponents.

ok here is a problem i have with all these decks they all require at least ten cards from adventures and for all us poor people WE CAN'T GET ADVENTURES...so what are we supposed to do just not play cause i have tested all the cheap decks on here which by the way some of them use cards from adventures so that is not cheap which is lie number one. the second lie is where the site says you can get to with these cheap decks and let me tell you THAT IS A TOTAL LIE. I have tried all the decks that say will get to rank 10 or legendary or anything in that area and i cant get past rank 20 with them. Please dont say your deck can get you to higher ranks if it completely sucks.

There are decks available in the Legacy section for 90%+ of the meta decks without various expansion cards. Also, none of the Cheap decks use Adventure cards.

 

If you can't get past Rank 20 with a deck, the problem lies with you, you need to get better at the game.

Well said. Hearthstone needs a lot of practice to master. You may have any deck in the game and still be in rank 20 if you don't know how to play them correctly.

Just mirroring Sottle's post here, but I cannot help but agree that if you are unable to get past rank 20 with a deck on our site, then the problem lies with you. This is not an insult, we were all bad at Hearthstone at one time or another, and we're all here to learn and get better. I suggest you read some of our gameplay guides (as well as the deck guides, instead of just using the decklist; you can also watch some streams to see how good players use their cards.

So I'm about to buy the last wings so I can get my shade of naxx's but I'm missing ancient of lore twice.. Can I replace them temporarily and if so, with which cards should i replace them? I've got nexus champion saraad, is it any useful?

I have one question to ask : would it be viable to replace one shade of naxxramas with 1 darnassus aspirant and one druid of the claw with one ancient of war? (just getting the idea from kolento's deck)

Ancient of Lore, possibly Harrison, past-turn-10 Wild Growth, and Azure Drake. This leaves you with 5-15 (full Doomhammer), which isn't much, but is still enough to be able to keep you going. Also, you need to know when to push for lethal. If you just keep stalling, you lose because you run out of steam.
