Why Can't I Heal More Than a Druid?

Recommended Posts

Guys,

Sorry, but I am trying to master my heal as a Holy Paladin, and, at my Core that is doing HFC Normal in every fight i am doing a HPS like 10k20k less than a Druida.

I just wanna know if is there any problem in the way I am healing, or of its normal to a Druida has such bigger heal than me

You linked a log of a wipe which is not very helpful.  You also didn't link your armory, you just re-posted the link of the log page.

Read the basic spell priority on icy veins; yours is a bit backwards. If you have taken eternal flame, almost all your holy power should be spent on eternal flame, not light of dawn.  You need to be casting more holy light, and if you are worried about output, you can use flash of light when you get infusion of light if you can sustain the mana usage.  When you get t18 2-pc and class trinket, holy paladins become much stronger (which I cannot see if you have or not since the link to your armory is wrong).

I am using Light of Dawn when the raid has more than 5 players receiving damage. Is that wrong?

It isn't necessarily wrong, however, you are negating the benefit of taking eternal flame as a talent. If you want to mainly spend your holy power on Light of Dawn, you can take sacred shield and you will have higher output.   A large reason to take eternal flame as a talent is because it gives you more illuminated healing and also more beacon of light healing. If you aren't going to use it, don't take that talent.

I look at your armory and you do not have t18 2 piece or the class trinket so you shouldn't really worry too much unless you find yourself under performing with that gear.

You could look at any logs of paladins who rank.  If they have taken eternal flame as a talent they are spending almost all of their holy power on eternal flame and minimal use of Light of Dawn. For example: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/6DjzNVXyaGpbrKnT#fight=4&type=healing&source=14
