Aggro Freeze Mage Wild

Very fun deck ! and as a big added value, i'm only missing 1 x ice block (for once i'm allowed to play a deck with nearly every card in it). I switched the ice block with a pyroblast that i happen to have because if the game drags too long and my opponent can pop my ice block once, it wil be close to turn 10 and either he's low in health and will die to pyro, or he's not and another ice block probably wouldn't have saved me anyway :/ this means that i had to cut one mad scientist too... (replaced it with a flame juggler)

 

Only thing then, i would be interested in a statistic from people : how often do you get a hand with your mad scientists and no ice block ? i've played 10 games till now, and every and each time, if my mad scientist is in play, then the secret is already in my hand (RNG RNG RNG).

That's probably just bad luck.

It is, you can want to draw Ice Block every game, so this gives you three copies of it essentially.

Cool deck. New season started and I play it for a last few hours. Got 65% winrate and few nice winstreaks after near 30 matches. For the first time I have highest rank from my online friends, hah :)

Slowly coming to grips with this deck - although I also had to replace one Ice Block (swapped in an Ice Barrier for it, although I'm not really happy with that...) and one mad bomber (swapped in a Cone of Cold, but might replace this with a Blizzard). Since I do not own a Bloodmage Thalnos either I replaced it with a Fallen Hero to get rid of some more 2-healt minions during the early game.

 

Any suggestions on better substitutions?

Fallen Hero sounds like a reasonable swap, but I am not entirely sure about the Cone of Cold. You might want to consider more aggressive cards instead.

Definitely worth it, especially given how many more minions it can kill if you need to play it early vs. aggro. It's not ideal, but sometimes you have to.

      Last patch gave us 40% and 10% damage increase on ray of frost and glacial spike
      Does anyone know of these changes make them relevant ?
      Should frost mage play with these or one of these now ?
