Idea for the D3 Builds: Clarify Core Paragon Priorities

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to offer an idea for Deadset or whomever the authors may be: when listing paragon priorities, don't put all four items in the Core area unless you are suggesting we spread them out one by one. For example, the WD Acid Cloud build has these priorities: 1) Move Speed 2) Int 3) Vit 4) Max Mana. I'm assuming this means I should put 50 ranks in Move Speed and everything else in Int. If that's true, don't list Vit and Mana: it's confusing. If it's not true, clarify what else that would mean. 50 ranks in int, then 50 ranks in Vit, then 50 in Mana? Go 3, 2, 1 in rotation? Might be a minor issue, but I'm curious what the author is actually suggesting. I'm not sure if a paragon 1000 player should have 50 ranks in Move Speed and the rest in Int, since there are diminishing returns. Thanks!

I decided to start making this build because i enjoyed the effect of Etched Sigil and Ranslor's Folly together. Legacy of Dreams is not required for this to work, you can also use Litany of the Undaunted and The Wailing Host, but LoD makes it a bit more flexible and doesn't require chancing perfect ring rolls. The greatest thing about this is that you don't need to worry about enemies being sprawled about or worry about pressing multiple spells. The damage does not really stack until you get more ancient legendaries equipped but once those start happening you will get to at least GR 80 with no trouble.
In terms of paragon stats, you should be maxing out movement speed and then just stacking into intelligence. You can put some stats into vitality if you are dying too often.
Try to stay away from diving into enemies too much and keep your distance. i found that the tornadoes do not spawn well with enemies up close.

Hey everybody, i've been theory crafting for a while on a LON Condemn Crusader
      https://www.d3planner.com/704716248

The main point of this build is of course focused around condemn but also equipped Justice Lantern and Akarat's Awakening. and passives+spell effects to reach an effective 100% block chance.

The main point of going with these items is to increase the dmg reduction compared to Unity and additional cooldown reduction from blocks with Akarat's Awakening - downside of the build is the lack of magical resistance - an other alternative was to swap the Coven's Criterion, although that still doesn't increase the survivability from magical damage, but basically makes one immune to any blockable attacks.

I would like to hear the thoughts you guys have on the build and if you guys have any other suggestions to alternative build paths.

      Build:
      Helm: Andariel's Visage
Shoulders: Pauldrons of the Skeleton King
      Gloves: Magefist
      Chest: Cindercoat
      Belt: String of Ears
      Pants: Swamp Land Waders
      Boots: Illusory Boots
      Bracers: Nemesis Bracers
      Amulet: Hellfire Amulet of Strength
      Ring 1: Justice Lantern
      Ring 2: Convention of Elements
      Weapon: Blade of Prophecy
      Offhand: Frydehr's Wrath

      Gems:
      Helm: Flawless Royal Diamond
Legendary 1: Bane of the Trapped
Legendary 2: Bane of the Stricken
      Legendary 3: Esoteric Alteration

      Cube:
      Weapon: Akarat's Awakening
Armor: Hexing Pants of Mr. Yan
Jewelery: Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac

I have been using this build since the Necromancer was released

Nowhere near mid-tier build, but fun to play and fairs pretty nicely when completing season journey.

      All Shall Burn Build
      Level 1 Master of Destruction
      level 4 Gluttony
      level 7 March of Sin
      level 10 Demonic Invasion
      level 13 Infused Power
      level 16 Battleborn
      Level 20 Perishing Flame

straight forward dps build high survivability what you need to do is keep melee heros at range once build is finished they will lose health fast the major idea is to make all shall burn as powerful as possible use ultimate Perishing Flame while cd on all shall burn is active as well as globe of annihilation constantly be moving and you should be all right if health is low disengage when low level on talents and go heal your mana will be burned through quickly so when it's low get out of there and hearth back to base
