I like the existence of BGH - it introduces more decisions and helps classes that lack good hard removals. There should be a risk to playing a big minion. Just as there is a risk in including BGH in your deck - if there's no target for him, he becomes a very lackluster minion that dies to 1 drops.

 

And I strongly suspect that the removal of Dr. Boom will reduce the number of BGH in the meta. It's unlikely that there will be another minion so strong that it becomes an auto-include in almost every deck. With less decks having a 7 attack minion, less decks will use BGH. That should make the BGH-meta more dynamic again.

Malygos, Ysera, Tirion, all are big minions that are immune to big game hunter. 

 

Dr. Boom may be gone but Ragnaros is eternal!
