I guess adding Huhuran, Sylvanas and N'zoth is a bad idea?

N'zoth is terrible in hunter(this is NOT a control deck). Sylvanas could be decent if you want to skew the deck towards beating out control even harder(not that it needs it though) but is otherwise not needed. Huhuran is totally fine.

I've been playing this deck to great success. I have made one substitution that I recommend very highly: cut the Deadly Shot and replace it with a Gladiator's Longbow. You still have 8 cards at the three drop slot, and this card has won me many games since I substituted it in. Chances are you don't want to play two 3 drops on turn 6 because you ideally drop a Savannah HighmaneGladiator's Longbow offers two 'modes' that are both extremely relevant on turn 7, where ideally you have nearly killed your opponent. The first is to remove up to 2 creatures with 5 or less toughness at no health cost, and the other is to Pyroblast over two turns for 7 mana, which in a deck like this that quickly racks up damage will often win the game on turn 8, especially in combination with Call of the Wild, which you may still play on curve.

I'm honestly not sure what I'm supposed to be doing with this deck.  I just tried it out in Casual for 6 or 7 games and I lost all but one of them (the one I beat was a joke deck). I constantly found myself playing off curve or just having nothing to play at all.  Whenever I do have something to play, I instantly get countered. Most of the losses didn't even feel close.

Same here. Deck seems to be very weak. When I play against a hunter-deck like this, I usually win with whatever class.

The deck as it is now (may 31) is extremely bad. It has hardly any 2 and 3 mana cards, so very often you'll find yourself without anything to play. You fall behind and never get back. Usually you can use only part of your mana or you are stuck with 2 houndmasters without a beast in play.

Mulligan harder for the early game. Cut a Houndmaster if you don't find a lot of use for it.

Deploy speed is a problem for Hunter, but all your cards are pretty flexible and generally have a good value. With the right hand you can navigate through early game against a lot of starts, and then your Midgame is second pretty much to none.

I took out a Tundra Rhino, Ram Wrangler, and an Unleash, and replaced them with 2 Flame Jugglers and a Carrion Grub. I've been having a lot more success with the deck since.

The Mulligan guide suggests Flame Juggler, but the deck has none.

Hey, Sottle! In one of your recent streams you successfully played hunter deck without traps and bows. Do you think it’s not as good as decks listed in meta section?

Okay, I am unable to get quick shot and Huge Toad at the moment, any replacements? I only have the first wing of LoE. Thanks in advance!

You can try 2 Bloodfen Raptor and 2 River Crocolisk.

Note that without quick shot the deck looses a lot of power. The replacements might seem odd, but you want to keep the beast synergy in order to have activators for Kill Command and Houndmaster.
