Does   Darckli's Dragonfire Diadem   affect single target rotation at all? or maybe just use it in a situation where you have to move and are out of ice floes ?

I think this is the best Legondary, use it at the end of your opener while combust is still on. With blood furry, and combustion and 5 stacks of the first golden trate has my dragon breath hitting for 730k damage on one target.  Once you get this item use DB on cool down but save it if you're about to get RING OF POWER off cool down. Line up your big damage abilitys with ring of power and you'll see your dps sky rocket. Especially in multi target fights.

I'm confused as to why the Portable Manacracker is BiS trinket. I've used it and I don't see it doing much damage at all.

I'll make a note for Furty and see what he says!

I have a question regarding the newest changes in patch 7.1. Considering the drop in Pyroblast damage  along with the buffs to both arcane and frost damage, would fire still be predicted to be the highest dps spec? I would suspect for multi-targets/adds it would be but I'm dubious about fights with one or two targets.

We did change the wording in the intro page for Arcane to say that it's now very strong on single-target (it said it was weak before, but that was comparatively to Fire). I guess we need to see how things will turn out in raids :p

Hi Furty

Really amazing guide, fairly new to Fire and this has been very helpful, just a quick question about Dragon's Breath in the rotation section. How important is Dragon Breath? I know that you should be fairly close to the target for it to hit.

Thanks! Nika

What is best to use, Deadly Grace or Prolonged Power potions? And is Prolonged Power better in some situations? Like aoe, during heroism etc.

So far, Deadly Grace is still better. Prolonged Power might be better in aoe but this hasn't been determined yet.

Hey, atm I'm sitting at allmost 60% crit and would like to ask, if its still worth going for crit. Do the stat weights chance at some point? Is there a crit cap?

The only crit cap is at 100%.

It's high priority for AoE and cleave but you don't have to worry about using it on a single target unless you have diadem.

Unless they rework Fire, it's unlikely the priorities will change due to how important Crit is for it to function as a spec.

is the trinket prio list still relevant? just can't personally see how fireball relic is over ignite relic? it's 2nd highest damage

I would imagine it simply depends on single target vs. any cleave/aoe. As soon as that aoe makes an appearance, the ignite one likely jumps above fireball relics in value.

It depends on the situation and the fight. Fire at Will is amazing for single target (arguably the best) and still good for cleave, so I would keep it at second highest priority for "overall" relic choice. Ignite relic is great if your priority is Mythic+ dungeons, however, as AoE/cleave is the prevalent form of damage.

Hi, great guide guys!

Thanks for all the hardwork.

I was wondering, now that karazhan is open, where does http://www.wowhead.com/item=142157 falls into the trinket ranking. Through a dummy test it comes around 8-10% of my whole damage. in AskMrRobot it shows as a worst trinket than my worst actual one:  http://www.wowhead.com/item=139323/twisting-wind&bonus=1807

Thanks for all the Help

Hey, I'll be updating the gear section later in the week, or early next week. If you have a good amount of crit the trinket is a decent choice but I'm not sure *exactly* where it fits into the trinket ranking/BiS itself. Will report back with more info later!

Is shock baton still the best trinket apart from sinew? I have several higher ilvl trinkets including 870 bough with a socket, 860 unlucky charm with a socket, 865 unstable horror slime with a socket. Is my 845 shock baton still better than all of those?

Grubby Ring as BIS shouldn't be there.  Band of the Peerless 855 with a crit gem has higher DPS per stat weights..

Hi!

What do you guys think, im currently at 865 ilvl,   my fire relics are high ilvl's ( 865  with blue flame special, and 855Burning gaze), i looted 2  845 i lvl relics with pyroclasmic paranoia. Should i put them in ? I will loose some item levels, but thats the best trait as i know.

I got 58% crit, 17% mastery, if thats matters.

Thanks for the answer :)

I believe so. Will double check. As for whether it's better with such a huge iLvL difference, only SimCraft can tell you, unfortunately. Run 2 simulations with your character using the different trinkets and you can compare the DPS outputs.

The BiS is aimed specifically at raid gear, so it was aimed at the gear dropping in Emerald Nightmare. Trinkets are normally the only piece that is included outside of raids.

Executive Producer Holly Longdale teased some upcoming experimental PvE-focused content that Blizzard will soon reveal to the community.
It appears that Plunderstorm isn't the only new mode Blizzard plans to add to WoW this year.
Holly Longdale today teased an upcoming PvE-oriented event that will soon be revealed to us. Holly might be talking about the "Timerunning Pandamonium," expected in Patch 10.2.7.

      Greetings Citizens of Azeroth,
It’s been great seeing so many players taking the plunge into Plunderstorm and we’ve loved seeing all of the stories and feedback as this experimental event evolves. It will be exciting to see some of the community content creators going head-to-head as duos during the Plunderstorm Creator Royale on March 30!  This isn’t the end of the things we want to try in World of Warcraft, however, and we have more in store we can’t wait to show you.
Dragonflight Season 4 is in route as testing begins on the PTR and we’ll have more news to share soon™ on the next experiment we have up our sleeves. We hope those of you who are looking for PvE focused content will enjoy what we’re planning, all while we continue to press forward on development of our next expansion for World of Warcraft— The War Within.
We can’t wait to share with you all the many things the team has been hard at work on.
With gratitude and excitement for what we’ll do together next,
      Holly Longdale
