Spriest, average damage for my ilvl?

My ilvl 873, I do about 300k overall in EN normal/heroic and I'm wondering if that is the right amount dps for shadow priest and this ilvl. I usually do rather low dps on Ursoc and Nythendra, not entirely sure why but I still do above 200k.

Hey Lilaina,

I'm not going to pretend to understand SP DPS, I'm still learning how it all works. But in terms of average DPS numbers checking Warcraft logs is your best bet.

The link below is set to show the 50th percentile from fights logged on the site, can set it to any ilvl bracket you would like, along with various difficulty settings and percentiles.

I'm not suggesting you should switch though, this is a very special gameplay, not for everyone.

I use surrender for raids, legacy for mythic+. That is most likely why I don't have Surrender on my profile.

The main things to worry about as shadow priest: dot uptime, void form rotation, void form uptime, void form length. Combining these are going to give you the best possible dps. Also each one of those influences the other (good rotation leads to longer VF, maintained dots etc.) I haven't actually looked at my overall dps but as lotv on most fights i am pulling 320k+ at your ilvl. The outliers being anything with extra adds to maintain twist of fate, the biggest being cenarius where my dps ends up over 400k. I'd say for s2m your overall dps should be much higher though.
