getting beat by my team now since they've got more gear which making me upset :O im playing frost and i believe pretty well, I was told to go NT always with my haste but im not sure if thats right as wol shows top dps with LB.. 

 

When can i go arcane ?:)

If you play frost, and you play it pretty well, and you enjoy it, I don't see any reasons why you should go for arcane spec.

If your guild has that much better gear you won't be able to beat them even if you are arcane. Although, I will have a look at your logs and respond if I found space for improvements in your playstyle.

You should try and reach 11795 haste, since that is the next breakpoint for Nether tempest and it should be really easy to obtain. After getting that, yes. Nether tempst would be optimal, if you can consume Brain Freeze procs with confidence. Otherwise, LB.

Having the 4 set is not a requirement, but it helps.. In fact it helps all 3 specs.

EDIT: Combatlog analysis on Malkorok. (Almost stationary fight, single target.)

 

You had 82% uptime of NT, which could definitely be higher and also keep in mind snapshotting your dot.

 

Invoker's energy uptime could be higher as well.

 

You casted too many normal ice lance, without FoF charge. I assume you did this on moving. You should rather focus on quick reposition, then executing your normal rotation afterwards. Blink, Blazing speed, Ice flows are superior.

 

You wasted 5 Brain Freeze procs.

 

You didn't use potion :)

I enjoy frost idd, but yeah maybe im just bad at consuming brain freeze ill try lb on single target fights.

 

• my raid team have lower gear than me but it seems  i messed up a bit, on iron juggernaut i tried hard though and the shaman still beat me and he has bad gear. ( looked at my wol, again to many ice lances, and not enough ffb and dot uptime).
• 4p is good for frost too? I was told by Vykina just to go 2p + off pieces,
• I'll stay frost, i've moved to that haste cap i got a ring today, i was it during the raid though.
• do you cast invokers before it ends or after?
• also i am snap shotting bombs. =]

I'm ignoring the 4 piece as well....too many warforged pieces along with crafted legs just doesn't seem like a good trade-off for the 4 pieces.

You should only drop 4pc when you got HC/HC Warforged things to replace it.
