UNHOLY DPS NOW THE BEST!

7 posts in this topic

Hi guys,

recently (past this week)  news has come from various sources that seems to confirm the great boost that unholy has received on last mini-patch.

Raidbots put it top on DW frost and 2h for about (5-6%) at 560 IL.

I wonder if somebody of you can confirm this because i won't spend about 3-4k gold on refoerge and resocket all.

Thank you for comments.

2h Frost and Unholy are the exact same stat prio if you have SoO HC gear. Now that UH got the 10% strenght buff it does more damage if played corretly.

What's changed since the hotfix? Because Mendenbarr did the 580 BiS profile on the 7th of January and DW Frost was still on top. Are we talking single target fights or multitarget? According to his SimC results, 2h Frost and Unholy are really close in single target, but DW Frost is still 10kish ahead. Unholy has been king of AoE for a while now, and the hotfix was a good 8% increase, too. Just curious as to what your "various sources" are. I'd love to play Unholy, but not at the expense of lower DPS. I poked around looking to see if unholy was indeed the best atm, but couldn't find any information agreeing with that. If you could let me know that would be awesome!

Can you share your various sources, Nicola?

I hear rumors about it too, but have not seen anything to prove it. That would be interesting!

I would assume that unholy build have all tier 16 pieces and best in slot? What about us who are LFR dependent and can't raid heroic contents?
