The glyphs im using are glyph of renew, deep weels and fade. Im using int food and flask and im reforged to get the 4721 haste cap and then mastery. The only tip I have for you is to reroll druid and rolfstomp.  Priests are notoriously bad at proving grounds endless.

As for the macro.  I believe there's a delay before void swap's effects trigger, whereas DPrayer is an instant heal.  Not 100% on that though.

All ready have it on my druid so no need to reroll one :P  And as for the macro, it seems to work when i click it (manualy target and klick) but if im not remembering wrong and seeing wrong, it is just the dp part that works :/

im  trying to get the proven healer title on my priest as well

Hello,

I'm sure you know this already, but the title is account wide.  You already have it on your priest.

The achievement is presently shared across your toons, so the only thing that is stored against you character are the statistics.  Once this becomes a feat of strength, which it will in 6.0, even these will be gone.

What's more, is that the statistics tab for proving grounds has been wiped clean several times.  The proving grounds have been significantly altered during their life time, and at such times the stats have been reset.   The tank proving grounds were significantly buffed at the end of September last year, and everyone who got their achieves beforehand had their stats reset.  Take bigdeal, the second to top brewmaster monk who posted is videos - even his armory stats no longer reflect his wowprogress rank.  So the one thing that can be recorded, your statistics, will be taken in 6.0 and could be taken at any time before that.

Master the proving grounds on your priest because you want to test your skills against this challenge.  But don't do it for a title and achievement you already have, or statistics that will be removed.

Lastly, don't let people diminish  your achievement with your druid.  Druids have an advantage but not a massive one.  The people who one shotted it, or managed extremely high wave numbers did it when it was newer and much, much easier.  It's been retuned several times and today your accomplishments do reflect your skill.

Rgds,

Another Proving Grounds Enthusiast.

@ Pandrel yeah i know its acount wide :) Just doing it to test my skills as you say, and about the druid im not leting anyone diminish my achi whit it, are still feeling damed proud of my self for geting it. the only advatege i can see (compered to the priest atleast) are the shrooms and mabye innervate is a small advantege sence it dosent need things to hit on like the priest fiend does. But thx for the encuregement :)

Bit late to the party

I'd say disc is pretty bad for proving grounds. Holy is more in the middle of the pack. But I agree, druid are just too good for proving grounds.

Proving Ground is definitely not a test of skill; I got the achievement after slightly over an hour of trying, and I don't consider myself that great at all. It is substantially different from raiding, and dungeons/CM.

Back on topic, the trick to proving grounds is to be as efficient as possible.

The first topic I would like to touch on is Shadowfiend. You Really want to use this three times every round (10waves). However, on the very first round you are able to use it four times: Wave 1, 4, 7, 10. On the other rounds Shadowfiend will be on cooldown for the first two waves. I would recommend using Shadowfiend for wave 10 since that is when I needed a dps increase. It seems you did use Shadowfiend three times. But next time please give more attempts so we can view consistency.

Your tank healing is a problem. Flash Heal should not be up there as the #2 heal ability. Renew only has a 73% uptime should be close to 100%, ideally 95%+. This is a must for being efficient (as I'm trying to emphasize).

Aside from the Hive(?) guys there really isn't that much AoE output from these. Prayer of Healing shouldn't be too much of a priority. Most of the time I find myself using Divine Hymn when I need AoE heals. However, there are times when I do use PoH. Most of the time it is when I have two Serendipity stacks. Otherwise I would just leave them at 50-70% health and when I have the time i would top them off really slowly with Heal/Renew

The priority I use is spirit>int>haste>mastery. I despise crit on non-disc priests healers. Since I'm crashing the party so late, I do not have access to your holy gear, and can't suggest any change.

Now reviewing your logs:

note: feels weird reviewing Proving Grounds

*Your ToF proc is really low, you should be able to get 50%+.

*Do not use your sixth talent liberally, they are not mana efficient for 5man,

*Seems like you're using Flash Heal way too many times (not sure if its due to fdcl or not), as stated above it is not efficient.

*The uptime on PoM is very fragmented. It shows you stopped using it after around wave six.

- Logs are showing you ran out of mana at the end, so prioritize improving spell priority. Also, if possible, record more attempts in the future.

Feedback is welcomed.

Final Note:

The best way to know whether to use fast heals or slow heals is to familiarize yourself with the damage. Not here to brag, but just using myself as an example: I can easily reach 40 waves+ if I spent the time getting used to the damage on round 4+(wave 31+). Proving Grounds is really boring.

Improving isn't the easiest to do. Good Luck

-LostDignity

Edit: Rounds are separated by the intermission between selected waves.

Do you despise it just in Proving Grounds or were you saying in general?  Makes me sadpanda if you despise it in a raiding scenario.  I eat up as much crit as possible when I go Holy, nom nom nom

As far as being late to the party:  Anything helpful you add is a great addition.  If they are reading the thread there is a good chance they were still interested enough in Proving Grounds to hear what you had to say.  :)
