Rogue spec help

Hello guys, iam new to the forums and i seek some advice. i am currently playing as assis rogue. and i do around 200k+ dps singe boss. but i seen combat rogue do more dps then i pull. my ilvl is 554 and i use pridfull daggers, but i wonder if i change to combat, is it a MUST to have other wepon then dagger, or i could switch to combat and still do decent dps?

 any advice is thankfull. hope i filled it out good.

If you want some real help regarding your play, I'd suggest finding and posting some logs, such as via WarcraftLogs.  Assassination and Combat should be within 5% of each other, played well.

 

That being said, for Combat, you need a slow main hand weapon to do optimal DPS.  The offhand doesn't matter..
