There's tons of new class changes, including the much-anticipated Balance druid rework and some great quality of life changes to other classes (such as Hunter and Warrior). Our friends at MMO-Champion have released a massive post detailing all of the great new finds in this latest patch, including amazing Challege Mode items, Tier 17 Armor Sets and tons of data. Blizzard have also posted a tiny set of hotfixes for the latest live build (bo-ring!) and there's a new episode of Azeroth Choppers! Check out all of the awesome new Warlords of Draenor Alpha content in this week's recap!

Warlords of Draenor Alpha Patch Notes Major Update

The Warlords of Draenor Alpha Patch Notes were just recently revised to reflect the latest build, and there are monumental changes! Nearly every section of the extremely extensive patch notes have been updated, including some much anticipated changes previously mentioned or hinted at by Blizzard CMs and developers. Most notable class changes this build include the massive rework of the Druid's Balance specialization, substantional improvements to the Arms and Fury specializations for Warriors, modification to burst cooldown abilities for Hunters and tons of additions (and subtractions) from other classes.

Our friends at MMO-Champion have posted a patch notes excerpt which includes only the changed/updated notes, while the full updated patch notes are available on the World of Warcraft website.

Latest 5.4.8 Hotfixes - May 21

Blizzard isn't too focused on the future to forget about the present! They've also made a few more hotfixes to the latest live build, which was released on servers earlier this week. Check out our awesome post on the item upgrade and valor point changes that went live earlier this week, and check out these new changes!

  • Resolved an issue where players transitioning from Eastern Plaguelands into Ghostlands while on certain flying mounts would be unable to resummon the mount until they relog back in.

Latest Warlords of Draenor Alpha Patch Additions

MMO-Champion have posted a massive preview of content datamined from the latest Warlords of Draenor Alpha build (18297). The latest content post includes new character textures, items, icons, models, maps and encounter journals, minimaps, spell changes, strings and achievement changes. Whew! They've also posted videos of new Challenge Mode items they've discovered, which are some of the most detailed items ever added to WoW. Each item features an amazing transformation animation, hopefully a feature we'll see throughout the expansion on the most special of items!

Check out the latest Warlords of Draenor Alpha data on MMO-Champion and be sure to view the Challenge Mode item video below!

Artcraft - Cosmetic Class Accessories

The latest entry in Blizzard's Artcraft series features senior art director Chris Robinson sharing a look at an excellent visual feature they'd like to add in the future: cosmetic class accessories. It's been quite some time since Blizzard removed the extra item slot from Hunters, Shamans, Druids and Paladins, one that previous held a class-specific accessory such as a Libram or Quiver. Blizzard is currently early in the concept phase of bringing these items back in order to add that special flavor back into the game. They've shared some concept art of a few examples, and have mentioned that they have a "lot of ideas" for accessories for all classes! There's no limit to the customization options! Be sure to check out this super-early look at a potential future WoW feature! The more we can transmog, the better! Check out this concept on the official World of Warcraft blog!

Azeroth Choppers Episode, Plus Merch and Voting!

The latest episode of the Azeroth Choppers webseries has been posted! The teams have just arrived at Blizzard to meet with the art departments to get to work at putting the winning bike in-game! Ready for your in-game mount? Voting will begin on May 29th when Episode 7 airs, and the winning faction's mount will make it in-game! Did we mention that the mount will be free? Of course, I'd assume we'll actually see both mounts in-game, but may the best side win! Blizzard has also added Azeroth Choppers shirts to their store, so check it out if that's your thing!

Filming of the Warcraft Movie Finished

They're making a Warcraft movie, remember? They've kept nearly every detail of the upcoming Warcraft movie tight under wraps, but the movie's director Duncan Jones has just tweeted today that the movie is done filming! It will spend quite some time in post-processing before its scheduled release on March 11, 2016, but maybe we'll finally start seeing some details over the next two years! There's only been one photo from the set leaked from its 123 day filming. Give us something to be excited about already!

US realms are affected by yet another wave of gem dupe.
Do you see a Level 1 character advertising in Trade, selling dozens of cheap gems? If the answer is yes, your realm is affected.
These items are currently duped like crazy
Saber's Eye of Agility Saber's Eye of Intellect Saber's Eye of Strength What I advise you is to:
Stay away from these gems unless you need them for raiding. In this case, buying them from the Auction House makes them clean as opposed to direct trade with the duper, which is a bannable offense and such items can get removed from your inventory. Don't buy these items if they show up in your TSM Sniper. Prices were slowly recovering from the initial dupe back in September and here we go again. I feel really sorry for people who dumped lots of gold into 800/800 Jewelcrafting. The price of an uncut Saber's Eye is three times higher than its cut counterpart.
      EU Realms
After having viewed prices of highly-populated EU realms, like Aerie Peak, there aren't any spikes in supply and/or price drops. Many if not all EU realms remain unaffected.
To check prices on your server, use The Undermine Journal. My realm is listing the cheapest for 2.8K. Did you see a price drop on your realm? Report back with results!

The method revolves around reselling shirts for profit. It doesn't require high initial investment.
Broxel Goldgrasp sells a of shirts for just 25g/pc. The best thing is many aren't even aware of that vendor and players are buying them for ridiculous prices, because of the Fashionista: Shirt achievement. They visually represent World of Warcraft races.
The vendor is located in Icecrown (Argent Tournament Grounds). If you're still farming ICC for Invincible's Reins or Ulduar for Mimiron's Head make sure to pay him a visit.
      He sells the following doublets:
Orgrimmar Doublet Undercity Doublet Thunder Bluff Doublet Sen'jin Doublet Silvermoon Doublet Alliance
Stormwind Doublet Ironforge Doublet Exodar Doublet Darnassus Doublet Gnomeregan Doublet Thomas Yance is a traveling salesman. He doesn't sell shirts only. His arsenal includes boots, pants or robes. You can experiment with selling them as well, especially on RP realms I assume they will be very valuable. The vendor can be found in Old Hillsbrad Foothills (Caverns of Time).
      Shirts he's selling:
Recruit's Shirt Squire's Shirt Neophyte's Shirt Apprentice's Shirt Acolyte's Shirt Even though the shirts don't look very appealing, they still count toward the achievement and should make you some gold for a few copper investment.
If you're absolutely lazy, I've got a surprise for you. There are shirt vendors in Dalaran too. Except you'll see a lot of those shirts on the Auction House, but that's the price you ultimately have to pay for your laziness.
Angelique Butler (36, 37) is selling:
Antiseptic-Soaked Dressing Wound Dressing Salan Sunthread (37, 55) is selling the following apparel:
Ebon Filigreed Doublet Cerulean Filigreed Doublet Golden Filigreed Doublet Amber Filigreed Doublet Scarlet Filigreed Doublet Ebon Filigreed Shirt Cerulean Filigreed Shirt Amber Filigreed Shirt Scarlet Filigreed Shirt Golden Filigreed Shirt Blue Martial Shirt Green Martial Shirt Yellow Martial Shirt Purple Martial Shirt Red Martial Shirt Embroidered Shirt Is somewhat pricey. Costs 1,000 Gold. Tips
Buy multiple shirts, but NEVER put all your stock in the Auction House at once. We want players to think the shirt is rare and that's why it has such a price tag. I'd put a single shirt of each on the AH per character. Up to two chars max. This includes undercutting it on your alt by a copper to make the illusion of rarity perfect. Shirts usually sell overnight without any issues.

Illidan's story continues to unfold and Nagrand Arena receives a visual update in 7.1.
      Illidan's Story

The Hunt for Illidan Stormrage Soul Prism of the Illidari The second quest takes two months to finish, requires collection of 80x Lingering Soul Fragments and awards item level 855 loot after completion.

Lingering Soul Fragments will be obtained from last bosses of Legion dungeons and the higher difficulty the more fragments you'll see drop. There's a weekly cap of 10 Fragments and an overall cap of 80 Fragments you can have at a time. Nagrand Arena

Senior Game Designer Jeremy Feasel tweeted that there are more hidden items that the community hasn't discovered yet in Legion's initial Patch 7.0.
Muffinus has been teasing us over at Twitter that there are more hidden items that are yet to be discovered aside from Reins of the Long-Forgotten Hippogryph, Kosumoth the Hungering or Hidden Artifact appearances.
It could be something related to Shoe Shine Kit as there is a chest that periodically spawns, but can't be opened in Dalaran's Photonic Playground (44, 47) next to Sheddle Glossgleam's shoeshine seat. The chest spawns facing the wall and can't be opened.

What we know so far (based on various Wowhead comments and observations):
The chest spawns at early Sundays - 12 AM (PST) / 3 AM (EST) realm time - and despawns after two hours. During these two hours Sheddle Glossgleam goes drinking in Dalaran's Legerdemain Lounge. A coffee presser and two coffee grinders can be used in the Lounge at all times. I tried to click them in every possible sequence when he was drinking coffee like crazy,  but nothing happened. There's also an empty flower pot on the bar. The npc doesn't sell any other items apart from his usual inventory. There are no chat references that could give us any hint. Talking to other NPCs at the Lounge does nothing. His brother Shandy Glossgleam doesn't have any chat lines and is upstairs out on the balcony. Pick Pocket or Pick Lock don't work as the target is Friendly. Spectral Sight doesn't work. If you get the Shiny Shoes buff, the chest can't be opened and no interaction options become available. A similar chest to Sheddle's is near the art dealer, but you can't click it. Shoe Shine Kit Tracking Quest & 7.0 Dalaran - Shoe Shiner Disappear could be somehow tied to the whole event. Let's unravel the mystery!
