Blood Dk and Dps

Hi all. I would like to know how to produce maximum dps in the tank. Have bodykit 582, so can afford any reforge. Tell me the priorities stats for more dps.

You are reforging into dodge, instead of parry. Ideally go for hit/exp to 7.5% then parry>dodge. That is a pretty small gain though, so if you are lacking in damage even with an avoidance build with dps meta gem and cloak then it's probably something in your playstyle. Do you have recent logs by any chance?

To produce max dps Go straight crit in ever slot ignore all small socket bonus's and get dps trinkets the best two are Skeers and TTT Reforge all crit after getting 7.5 hit and 7.5 expertise as well as getting more crit gear if possible. There may be some times you want to get socket bonus's but ignoring all small ones so rings/boots/weapon then ignoring stam ones and the str ones you may want to consider in for the fact of getting to 7.5hit/expertise 

 

So your stat priority would be 7.5hit/expertise>crit>parry>dodge>strength>haste>stam>mastery

 

doing this you will become very squishy you've been warned (also getting dps cloak/meta)

This may be bad as he is a tank trying to balance out and get more dps,  not a dps character trying to push out more damage. Tank's need to be survivable first, and then dmg dealers second. If he's too squishy he's going to start being tossed from raids because healers won't be able to keep him alive, especially if he dies in 1 or 2 hits.  Dropping low health and maintaining that HP while healers get a heal or two on you is fine. But being so squishy that you die either before a healer can even throw a heal to you or dying while they are mid cast into a 1.5 sec cast time heal is really bad.  

 

He needs to go with the parry/dodge stats first, to make sure he lives long enough to do the dps he wants. then start reforging/gemming/enchanting into other stats. Not the other way around

before the release of the patch, I tried crite, but healers are accustomed to my survival, so I often died.

Your disease uptimes were a little bit low on a couple of fights I checked out. 83% on Sha, and 75% on Iron Jug. the rest of it doensn't look too bad though.

Going crit is not recommended 99% of the time. The dps gain you get over a normal avoidance builds is actually pretty small, and the survival differences are night and day. Because of this, crit is generally something you do when you have the content on farm or you just outgear the content enough, not on a whim to just increase your dps if survival isn't already a non-issue. The avoidance build will do what needs to be done, the rest is in the playstyle.
