Curse of Naxxramas: The Military Quarter - Now Open!

Today, Military Quarter, the new wing from the Curse of Naxxramas opened. As with the other wings, three new bosses (Instructor Razuvious, Gothik the Harvester, and Baron Rivendare) and two new class challenges (Shaman and Warlock). As always, we have been working around the clock to bring you guides covering the class challenges and the Heroic modes (and Normal modes, by extension). At the time of writing this article, the Heroic-mode videos have not been published, but we are working on them and they will be up shortly.

We remind you that this new wing unlocks 6 new cards, which will be given to you after beating the bosses and the class challenges: Dancing Swords, Spectral Knight, Deathlord, Baron Rivendare, Reincarnate, and Voidcaller.

Blizzard Icon Curse of Naxxramas: The Military Quarter - Now Open!

It’s time to take your training to the next level with Curse of Naxxramas’s Military Quarter!

Every week, a new wing of Naxxramas will become available for players to experience. Naxxramas wings will unlock in the following order:

The Military Quarter is home to Naxxramas’s finest undead knights, ready to take on all interlopers that dare test their skills in battle. Victory over these masters of melee will reward you with all-new Hearthstone cards!

The first boss players will encounter in the Military Quarter, Instructor Razuvious is destined to train all of the Death Knights risen within Naxxramas for all eternity. Defeating Instructor Razuvious will reward you with two copies of the Dancing Swords card for your collection. Be sure to keep your footing against the sheer power of Razuvious’s Unbalancing Strike!

A knight risen to serve Kel’Thuzad finds additional training with the second boss of the Military Quarter, Gothik the Harvester. Manipulating the souls of the undead is Gothik’s specialty, and his defeat will spirit two copies of the Spectral Knight card into your collection.

Kel'Thuzad's elite guard can be found in the last boss encounter of the Military Quarter: the Four Horsemen. Sir Zeliek, Lady Blaumeux, Thane Korth’azz, and Baron Rivendare join forces to bring down any Hero who dares cross their path! Their defeat will recruit two copies of the Deathlord card to your collection.

Defeating all of the bosses within the Military Quarter will add the Legendary Baron Rivendare card to your collection.

The Military Quarter also features two Class Challenges that will become available to those who have defeated the bosses on Normal Mode. Overcome these Challenges and you’ll be rewarded with new class-specific cards to expand your repertoire.

For those of you seeking out a serious challenge, Heroic Mode of the Military Quarter becomes available after you’ve defeated all of the bosses on Normal Mode! Heroic Mode bosses are significantly more difficult than their normal versions, and the Heroic Military Quarter bosses are dying to humble any would-be hero brave enough to face them!

Having fun in the Military Quarter is a part of your training, soldier! Experience the Military Quarter in Curse of Naxxramas: A Hearthstone Adventure today!

This week's Tavern Brawl is a repeat of Double Deathrattler Battler. It is a Brawl where you use your own cards to build a deck. Every Deathrattle will trigger twice.
Although this is a repeat Brawl, it has been a long time since it was last used, September 2015 in fact, and many things in the game have changed since then. In that regard it can be treated as a fresh Brawl. I would like to see this idea of waiting a long time between reusing a Brawl be implemented more often, to help keep them fresh.
On top of trying to win games, I expect lots of people to have fun experimenting with Weasel Tunneler, as many of its interactions do not work correctly, as per our previous article.

It does seem as if cards from the Curse of Naxxramas adventure will be very good in this Brawl. Baron Rivendare doesn't stack however, meaning you don't get four times the Deathrattles if he is in play!

YouTuber, Disguised Toast, is never far from the front of Hearthstone science, and his latest video is spectacular. This video investigates the strange interactions caused by Weasel Tunneler's Deathrattle.
Weasel Tunneler's Deathrattle seems simple enough, it reads: Shuffle this minion into your opponent's deck. However, when tested by Disguised Toast, it turns out that even this simple looking text can result in rather odd results. The ordering of other Deathrattles on the board, and effects by other cards on Deathrattles is what makes it so unpredictable. Take a look for yourself!
The fact your deck displays as full, no matter how many cards left, is probably the strangest interaction of all. Even Toast doesn't  attempt to describe how that one happens.

Blizzard have updated the breakdown of the amount each gang's classes are being played.
On their Gadgetzan page, there is an infographic showing who controls the town of Gadgetzan today. The percentages are worked out by how often each class is being used. Even with the huge amount of Pirate Warrior on ladder at the moment, the Grimy Goons are unable to control the city! That honour goes, currently, to the Kabal. With people having success with Reno Warlock AND Reno Priest, it will be fun to see if they hold that position in the coming days.

So I got a lot of jade cards for druid and neutral in the 15-20 packs I've opened, and I wanted to make a jade druid deck, right? But I'm poor, so I look up "Jade Druid Budget Deck". I find one on this site with the following deck list:

2x Innervate 2x Jade Idol MSG 2x Living Roots TGT 2x Raven Idol LoE 2x Wild Growth 2x Wrath 2x Feral Rage TOG 2x Jade Blossom MSG 2x Swipe 2x Nourish 2x Jade Behemoth MSG 2x Jade Spirit MSG 2x Azure Drake 2x Gadgetzan Auctioneer 2x Arcane Giant Kara But I don't have Raven Idol. Or nourish, though I can just craft that since it's in classic. So can anyone suggest an option for replacing the raven idols? I don't want to get all of League of Explorers just to play with it for a month then watch it turn to dust so I can craft other cards for decks in standard. I have one branch, but that's it. I was thinking maybe 1 jeweled scarab, though I know that card is frowned upon for reasons I've never been made aware of, for flexibility, and a loot hoarder for pure draw.
