will mistweavers still crap healing spheres in WOD?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am rolling mistweaver as my main healer well mainly because its fun. But, im my progressive raid group in mop we had a mistweaver who would literally just crap healing spheres everywhere. The most memorable was our dark shaman fights where there would just be an ocean of healing spheres everywhere and our health almost never dropped from being unable to not step in one.

I see the wod changes coming up and it basically seems you multistrike the crap out of yourself so you can basically renewing mist everyone and burst uplift them. My question is, will the monks still be pooping healing spheres? Would it be viable to stack mastery and use healing sphere explosion?

As is i'm not to 80 yet and having a blast with the class but I want to make oceans of healing spheres too T_T Will I be able to in WOD?

You still passively spawn healing spheres from mastery, yes. The only change in that regard is that we lost the spell to spawn them actively, replaced by one that detonates them to trigger their healing instantly.

Stacking mastery doesn't appear to be viable right now. Much like in MoP, the mastery itself is a strong component of your healing, but the scaling it receives from gear is suboptimal, which makes it our less desirable stat.

Also, how poetic of you.

Mastery increases spawn rate, but during mop mastery healing did not increase by much for the stats you invested.

Wod it seems to be the same but now we want multi strike > crit
