This is already off the front page of the general discussion forum, I doubt this will cause any harm, especially since half of the posts there try to be a voice of reason.

As to the "viruses": There is a minuscule possibility that the ad agency serves virus infected ads, I can't and won't say it's 100% safe, but you still go outside your house even though you could be killed by a car or be robbed, right? Also let me be clear that this can happen with any site, not just Icy Veins.

The server was likely not compromised, but I don't have access to it and Damien is at Blizzcon, so I can't be 100% sure here as well, but this has never happened and I can't see anything amiss with the site.

It is also very "convenient" that this happens during blizzcon, where both our and blizzard's response times are lower than usual, so such a thread on the forums can grow bigger than it should, especially because this sort of post is a deliberate defamation since it doesn't provide any proof whatsoever.

Cheers for the heads up Epi!

All I'll say is regardless of what websites you view and what browser you use make sure you have up to date security software!

I haven't had any notifications personally.

No doubt Damien will be able to check it all out after Blizzcon!
