Talents are driving me crazy...

Recommended Posts

In most single target fights, I use chi brew/serenity, averaging 29k dps per fight.

However, when I look at logs, I see monks wrecking dps charts on fights like tectus and brokenspore by using chi explosion/ascension. I cant understand properly the priority list of chi usage, ill use brokenspore as an example (with chi explosion):

Start of fight with 6 chi, tp, rsk, jab, fof.

I use fof on cd usually with as many stacks as possible.

When the big add comes, ill cleave it with swf (or whatever this is called, your clone). at this point ill try to prioritise: tp, rsk, fof and then should I use 4 points for chi explosion for the cleave right? I tried this today on heroic brokenspore, and did at the end 29k dps (652 ilvl) but when i check warcraftlogs monks are doing over 35k.

I just dont understand how this is possible, im praciting my monk so much but i cant grasp how they do it.

Link to my armory if its any help: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/frostmane/Dovawhale/advanced

Thanks for any help/enlightment that you can provide or if any video.

5% RSK debuff nerf, if your haste/multistrike is lower, without logs its hard to tell exactly whats going on.
