A bit confused about MM single target rotation

Recommended Posts

So on the main rotation page it has Barrage listed as #6 priority in the single target rotation.  However at the bottom of the page under the "5.4.4 Tier 6 Talent" section it says Barrage is "not worth using at all on a single target."

So which is the correct way?

The guide is wrong in including it in the ST rotation, it is indeed a DPS loss at this point to use for MM (BM can use it during Bestial Wrath though).  Refer to Niix's guide (https://www.icy-veins.com/forums/topic/7530-warlords-of-draenor-all-inclusive-hunter-guide/) for a more up-to-date Hunter guide, he keeps it pretty fresh

That simply means that if you have taken Barrage for a fight where it is a dps gain vs GT that is where Barrage's priority stands.  An example is on Brakenspore, not all of the fight has adds up, but Barrage is still better overall for that fight.
