Holy Paladin help

Recommended Posts

First of all - u have in raid 3 holy pals, its wierd. Its rly hard for pally heal aoe, couse it will consume tons of our mana(i prefer radiance-shock-radiance-light of dawn combo or shock-LoD-radiance-LoD-shock with talant Holy Avanger for mana-efficient aoe heal). Maby u shoud try another build for this setup - with HolyAvanger for more AoE heal, maby you shoud beacon not tanks, but other raid members. Not shure about this, couse its not what pally shoud do, but if your raid setup always 3 pall, u shoud adopt(or find good rdruid+rsham for more great saves and raid-heal). If you ok with mana at last phase, maby you want radiance a bit more often(with shock prock it will give you good aoe heal burst), but dont spam it, ~5-10 cast per battle.

I always have my beacon on top of recount/skada, wonder why u dont(last pull). Also as HolyPal u want mitigate as much damage as u can - divine protection for every arcane nova(dont remember proper name) or for debuff-tick. Didnt saw Master aura from u, u shoud use it at start(for first nova) and then when 2 ogres come and your raid killing small mobs(high raid aoe dmg). Our raid kill them all at same time with totem+ma+priest aoe shield and tranquility from rdruid, if your raid dont kill them this way - use ma when 2-3 mobs will die at same time(you have to track mobs hp).

But for me - your problem 2 other holy pals, couse for us best friend druid or shaman(they have good aoe heal).

You need logs from Heroic for anything feedback wise though as your all massively overgeared for normal and the overheal is minimal [despite the fact that theres only 2 tanks and a max 6 Beacons of Light] which means there was very little incoming damage and you all /danced for most of the fight [1 Cast of holy prism even though its on a 20s cd and its free dps as well as healing]

I've been doing a lot of research and following Holly Pallys that push good numbers. However, I still haven't been able to push the expected/required numbers that I should. Currently, I'm trying to pick up healing with the EF rotation. I'm failing miserably. Oddly, I push the most HPS being Selfless Healer (all forums say no).

Current rotation with EF:

Holy Shock (every chance) > Spam Holy Light/Flash > EF (on tanks)

I keep Beacons on both tanks.

Problem I have with this rotation is my Holy Light takes forever to get off! I try to focus on haste with stat priority. Here is a link to my toon's armory.

Any and all help with my rotation or thought process while healing will be greatly appreciated!

Key is knowing when to use what and anticipating damage.  Casting a heal so it lands just as damage is taken will help in many ways.

You should use a HR rotation when you have a throughput CD up (wings, Shards of Nothing, hero, etc) and the raid is taking enormous damage (see: earthquakes on Tectus).  It's very good to burst up stacked groups when you have a throughput CD, but is otherwise lackluster due to the mana cost. If the raid is spread, abandon it altogether.

Much better to regularly single target raid heal with HL, FoL, HS and EF (or WoG) so you're keeping consistent heals on both tanks and also contributing to raid heals.  Let the classes better suited to steady AOE healing handle the little stuff.  They will keep people with enough health to live while you get around to burst them to full.  Naturally, always use Holy Shock on cooldown.

Lastly, stop raiding with two other Holy Pallies.  Diversity is important in the workplace! laugh.png

Raid/Class Spots Are Open To Any Applicant If The Player Is The Right Fit
A guild formed with an ambition for progression and a love for M+ we decided to make the move from Silvermoon Alliance and form a guild to take our focus to the next level, Cutting Edge in 10.1 being the next step.
We believe in building a guild by recruit players of a similar goal and mentality whether it be for raiding or for push score in Mythic plus. We value loyalty, honesty and a positive attitude towards setbacks. Communication skills are an absolute must.
      Raid Schedule
      Wednesday 20:30-23:00 Sunday 20:30-23:00
      Current Progression
      9/9HC 5/9M
What are we looking for recruitment wise?
We're currently open to recruiting DPS classes listed above, as we aim to solidify a stable 25-player roster. We're looking to provide competition to existing members and choose the best 25 players to proceed with for next tier.
      Contact Information:
      Discord; tomsen and lora1506
Think you'd be a good fit?
If you believe that you are a player that is looking to achieve the same goals as us then why not contact us and see if we can achieve our goals together!

Been playing as 29/11/0 so far, extra crit heals is obviously good for keeping my team alive.

However, I never go OOM, so I want to get some more burst damage. What is the best way to make a hybrid paladin?
Holy shock with spell power? I want to do burst damage when my heals get interrupted, so holy shock might be bad.

7 Prot is the bare minimum for me, Imp Freedom is so strong.
18 Prot is also very strong, extra stuns together with grenades is powerful for BGs.
25 Prot for reckoning might be the best burst damage available, you could even heal with a 2hander. But this requires alot of investment and SETUP.

How good is SoC for a 1hander? Spell power gear? Maybe using Thrash Blade to do melee damage while healing geared.

What kind of gear? Spell power or strength?

<Fun is for Casuals> is a serious but casual horde guild on US-Hyjal. We are serious about raiding without the intense hours. Even when recruitment status is none, we will accept exceptional applications for all classes. For a full list of what we're looking for check out https://funisforcasuals.enjin.com .
Our raid times are Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM server (PST) with raid invitations sent out a few minutes prior to that.

We're interested in you if you fit the following criteria:
Raid attendance is essential. We don't want people sitting on the bench but we also want to make sure we're raiding 6 hours per week. We expect you to be available for at least 90% of our raids. Be on time and prepared for raids. This includes flasks and other consumables. Discord is mandatory and a working mic is desired. You're appropriately geared for our current content. Effort and thought have been put into your gear/gem/enchant choices. You wouldn't show up for a job interview looking like a scrub, why would you apply to a guild with improper gems or some insane spec? You're up to date with your class. We expect our raiders to perform to the best of their abilities. You have a computer that's not run with hamster power or requires a hand crank. Some encounters are taxing on a computer's resources so if your toon can't even handle Orgrimmar it's not likely to do well with 20+ whelps that need AOE'ing.
You may be interested in us because:
<Fun is for Casuals> uses the personal loot system. There is no loot council, or DKP. We won't eat your babies the first time you stand in something you have no business being in. Repeatedly do it and we'll break out the bibs and BBQ sauce. We provide a limited amount of consumables and flasks on hard mode raid nights. Discord isn't a circus during raids. We're focused on the job at hand and you should be too. We don't want someone to miss a an interrupt because they were distracted by fart jokes. We are not interested in you if you fit the following criteria:
You roll on BoE items then sell them. Unwilling/unable to spend an entire evening on one boss during progression. While this is rare, it can happen. Drama queens. If you have a problem bring it up to E. This is his job. Don't announce it in guild chat or during a raid. Your issue will have nothing to do with 99% of the guild. You are 17 or younger. We try to keep guild and discord chat PG-13 but occasionally a few four letter words appear out of nowhere. Additionally, we don't want someone's mom interrupting their raiding to get homework or the dishes done. Follow the instructions at https://funisforcasuals.enjin.com/ under the Recruitment tab if you would like to apply.
If you have any question, feel free to contact E. at DbD#1309

      Hey all,

Not new to hearthstone but haven't been playing constantly and just jumping back in towards the end of July.  I am not sure if there's a better name or configuration for this yet but I've had some good luck with it so far.  If nothing else it's just really fun to play for me.
This deck has no duplicates to take advantage of Zephyrs the Great and Sir. Finley of the Sand.

Never posted a deck before so not sure if this is how of the place but feel free to give me constructive feedback.
