Taking my leave...

Recommended Posts

Taking a leave from forum postings and such, perhaps indefinitely.  Life is hectic and I can't keep up with all the help forums and such with changes in my life coming both career wise and personally.  I'll continue doing my own work but will not be updating things here and might drop in every now and then.  Will be hoping Liquid can pick up my Demonology section and keep things moving.

Been fun serving you all.  Best of luck in BRF and the future.

A bit surprising.

Thank you very much, Zagam, for all your work here. Good luck.

I hope you will come back one day.

I'm so sorry to hear that, but I completely understand. Thank you for all that you have done for us in the warlock community - you are amazing! You have the traits of an talented player (obviously), but you also have a rare quality -  in that you connected to people in the community in a very humble and down-to-earth manner. Good to hear you'll still be playing WoW and also popping by every now and then.

Sincerely, once again, thank you for everything my friend. *bows*

Thanks for all the words and wishes guys.  Here's the scoop, because you all deserve it.

Danielle, my wife, is starting med school in July.  Because of that, I've had to leave my job of 4 years as a contract specialist for my alma mater and thus need to find a new job.  I've reached out and connected with the CFO of a system that has told me I'm very awesome and likely to get a position at a new place.  I'm waiting to hear from her, but in the meantime, I'm working in healthcare and the government is creating a very difficult place to understand, let alone implement.  As you all might have noticed, I've been unable to help analyze logs, create feedback, and keep my guide up to date.  It shames me to no other to not be able to give back, but instead of creating uncertainty with the quality of my work, I've just decided to step back and focus on my life, my wife, and my future.  WoW is still a part of it and I'm likely to come back after my new job settles in, but for now, I need to refocus.  My guild is going through heavy turnover with people leaving due to IRL reasons, illness, or what have you - thus our progression has been behind what I've wanted.  I'm putting a higher focus into my guild, friends, and real life.

I cannot tell you guys how much it means to me to have given to the community.  I've been wrong, right, confusing, clear, and anything in between.  Thanks for enduring me, liking me, hating me, and pushing me to be better.  I will be back at some point, but right now, I have to do what's best for me.  I'll continue working on stuff, and Demonology is a big focus for me since it is my love, but I don't want you all to be waiting on my usual service and standards as I cannot deliver.  I'll poke in every now and then.  In the mean time, kick ass, take names, and continue improving always.

Best, always and forever,

Zag

Zagam,

You probably don't remember me, but a whole while back I mailed you with my logs, my doubts and my insecurities about my play. You analyzed the logs for me, cheered me up, gave my confidence back and gave me some great tips for the future.

Apart from that, your postings on icy-veins and your guides have always been a life-line for a noob like me who wants to do the stuff right, but is at a loss of figuring everything out.

So thank you for all you did; it meant a lot to me; and the best of luck to you! I hope that stuff settles down in your personal life and that you'll come back at some point.
