Hooded Acolyte is a Priest-only minion. This card was introduced with Whispers of the Old Gods and can now only be obtained through crafting. Below the card images, you will find explanations to help you use the card optimally in every game mode of Hearthstone.

Hooded Acolyte is a powerful C'Thun minion that provides a strong reason to play C'Thun in Priest. In order to make a C'Thun deck work, you need powerful minions in your deck that are not just the standard C'Thun Cultists. Hooded Acolyte is one of the cards that provides such an advantage for Priest.

Twilight Darkmender is an auto-include in a C'Thun Priest deck, outside of this it does have some potential value in other Priest decks purely because of its excellent stats, but is faced with fierce competition from Shifting Shade and Auchenai Soulpriest.

Hooded Acolyte is not available in Arena.
