Arknights: Endfield is thanking players for the amazing launch with a big new reward. As part of a recent developer communication, the team confirmed that all players will receive a free 6-star operator after completing a specific main story mission.

According to them, the reward is meant to help players build stronger teams sooner and smooth out the early combat and exploration experience.

How to Get the Free 6-Star Operator

You just have to complete the main mission: Chapter I – Process I: “Break the Siege” to receive a Designation Selection Permit. With this item, you will then be able to choose a 6-star Operator from the Basic Headhunting banner.

Afterward, the permit will be delivered to you directly via in-game mail, as soon as you completed the required mission.

For players who have already finished the story, there is no extra action required. The reward will be sent retroactively after a quick update on February 5, 2026. You can also complete the mission after that date. Either way, the reward will be sent via in-game mail as soon as you pass the requirements.

Making Early Progression Feel Better

6-star operators play a huge role in team strength, especially early on. Giving players guaranteed access to one significantly reduces early-game frustration, especially when you do not get the Operator you wanted from the beginner banner.

According to the developers, this change is specifically aimed at:

  • Improving early-game combat
  • Making team building more flexible
  • Helping new players get settled faster

A Look at the Community’s Impact So Far

The reward is also here to thank players for being so active in the game. The developer message shared some impressive global stats as of February 1, 2026:

  • Over 42.1 billion meters of power transmission lines built worldwide
  • 23.2 million shared facilities repaired
  • The most repaired location was an Easy Stash facility in Valley IV’s Hub, with over 4.3 million repairs

These numbers highlight just how active the Endfield community has been since launch.

The developers also noted that even if the Designation Selection Permit will be sent via mail for now, they are considering adding a dedicated in-game system for receiving progress rewards in the future in order to add more value to completing all sorts of content in the game.
