Arknights: Endfield Wuling AIC Update Acid Pumps

Arknights: Endfield is giving its AIC Factory a pretty big update in “At the Wake of Spring,” and it is not just about crafting more stuff this time.

There is a bit more depth, a bit more customization, and even decorations that you can place in the open world!

New Outpost and Production Options

With the update, you will get access to a new Outpost in Wuling, and that means an extra sub-PAC to expand your factory setup.

On top of that, there are new Wuling AIC Plans, including additional machines and production chains. So if you were already loving to optimize your Factory, there is more to play around with here.

Purification Nodes and Fluid Systems

One of the bigger additions is the introduction of Purification Nodes.

These are designed to deal with sewage and other byproducts. You will need to route waste through pipes or conduits into these nodes, where it can be processed and purified. As you upgrade them, they become more efficient and can handle more output.

This links into a new type of resource as well: Precipitation Acid.

It is found in the new Marker Stone area and requires a specific pump to extract, since it is corrosive. From there, it goes through a chain of new facilities like the Expanded Crucible and Purification Unit, turning it into usable materials.

There are also new components tied to this system, like Hetonite, and this one is used to craft the new gear.

New Machines and Defenses

The update adds a few other new structures to the AIC system, on top of the previously mentioned ones, including:

  • Acid extraction and processing facilities
  • Conduit inlet and outlet systems for fluid transport
  • New defensive units
    • Hyper Beam Tower
    • Sledgehammer Mortar
    • Acid Soaker Mk I

So it is not just production, but there is a bit more flexibility in how you set up and protect your base too.

Yes, You Can Decorate Now

Probably the most unexpected addition is the Ornamentals.

These are basically decorations you can place using AIC mode, similar to how you would drop pylons or other structures in the world. For now, there are only a few types, but you can place them pretty much anywhere.

This also means you can absolutely take screenshots with your world covered in random decorations if you want.

New Gear and Progression

As expected, new production chains also mean new gear.

The update introduces a few new pieces along with two new gear sets, using materials linked to the new systems like Hetonite and advanced Xiranite. Speaking of that, Advanced Xiranite becomes available later in progression and is described as a more durable version of the standard material, and you can also use it in crafting and outpost trading.

Finally, the update also increases the cap on certain structures like the Forge of the Sky, letting you place up to 8 initially, and eventually up to 12.

Limited-Time AIC Event

There is also a limited-time event called “AIC Support: Palm-Top Savior.”

During the event:

  • Production rates at Wuling outposts are increased
  • You can unlock special formulas
  • You will produce event-specific items and turn them in for rewards

These rewards include new items called the Fruits of Altruism, and those can then be exchanged for event rewards.

So overall, it is less about one big feature or making it more difficult, but more about expanding the system further with more resources, more processing, and more ways to upgrade your Factory.
