Arknights: Endfield Delve Event

Arknights: Endfield just added something a little different this week. The new Delver of the Cryptic event is finally available, and instead of combat-heavy stages, this one focuses entirely on puzzles.

Puzzle events tend to sound a little bit time-consuming, but this one should not be that hard to go through. The puzzles are the usual ones you can find in the open world in Endfield. We are talking about moving crates, activating switches, looking at different ways you can access chests… things like that.

It is a nice change of pace if you have been farming combat stages lately.

What Is Delver of the Cryptic?

The event introduces a new Spatial Set called “Cryptic First Revealed.” It includes a total of 9 Protocol Spaces. They are all essentially puzzle stages you need to clear.

  • 5 stages are available immediately
  • 2 more unlock daily at 4:00 AM (server time)
  • After unlocking, the event remains permanently available

So even if you are a day late, no panic, the event and rewards are not going anywhere.

What Do You Really Do?

As mentioned, each stage revolves around environmental puzzles rather than fights.

You will need to do things like:

  • Move objects to specific positions
  • Trigger mechanisms
  • Navigate tight layouts
  • And locate three storage crates per stage

The extra crates matter because if you want to obtain the medal, you will have to find all the chests in each stage.

If you complete all Protocol Spaces, you earn an engraved medal, and if you clear all bonus goals and open every crate, you unlock the trimmed version.

Participation Requirements & Rewards

To participate in this event, you will need to complete the main story Chapter I Process II: Paving the Way first. Once that is done, you can jump straight in.

Clearing stages rewards:

  • Oroberyls
  • Mark of Perseverance
  • Protohedron
  • And a ton of materials for both your Operators and their weapons

It will not give you game-breaking amounts, but the rewards are definitely worth grabbing, especially since you will need every single Oroberyl you can get for the upcoming Operators.

An Interesting Event

Endfield adding pure puzzle content is pretty good. This one slows things down and allows you to do something other than just fight enemies. It is a fast and easy way to get upgrade materials and Oroberyls, and you do not need a maxed-out team to clear all the stages. This means that even beginners can join in this time!

And because it is permanent, there is no FOMO pressure. You can take your time, explore each stage, and go for full completion whenever you are ready.

If you have been waiting for something a bit different from the usual grind, this might be it.
