Recently, Arknights: Endfield held its Sanity Discount event in-game, wherein a large portion of the activities requiring sanity were given a 50% discount for the first three runs per day for a limited time.
HyperGryph, after considering the feedback, has announced they’ve decided to make an adjustment for the event’s return during the Version 1.1 (Old Deep Water Dies, by Rising Tide It Is Denied) run to better fit the spirit of the event.
Instead of discounted runs three times daily, Endfield will be sending Endministrators three Emergency Sanity Boosters via mail daily for easier reward collection.
This will allow players to not only claim double sanity rewards upon completion, a common complaint from the previous run, but also stockpile their sanity gifts so long as they claim them, until they have the free time to use them or they expire.
The newly named Sanity Supply event is expected to run from March 22nd to March 28th for a total of 7 mail rewards, and will run again from April 10th to April 16th again for a total of seven mail rewards. Players will have 24 hours from the mail release to claim their gifts from the mailbox, so plan to log in and claim accordingly.
If you happen to be a Protocol Pass owner, there are special consumable items available on the rewards tracks called “Sanity Extractors,” which can hold up to 120 essence for later usage.
Sanity levels can be overcapped to a maximum of 1,000, but can only go over 360 with the use of sanity booster items. A common strategy is to use sanity boosters near expiry to overcap your sanity and then store that overcapped sanity in a Sanity Extractor for later use.
Sanity extractors do not have an expiry, making them perfect for storing sanity for use during character launch windows and other events. Each day will reward 3 boosters granting 40 sanity each, for a total of 120 sanity, which will require a total of 7 Sanity Extractors to store. The Protocol Pass will give players 10 per season, so plan accordingly.
Players can look forward to the first Sanity Supply event in a few short days on March 22nd!
