A lot of players forget you can actually have two farms in Arknights: Endfield, and they are a solid way to stock up on plants, food buffs, and even a few Oroberyl without wandering all over the map. Farms are especially handy if you want to complete crafting manual objectives, since certain recipes reward you once you have harvested enough of the same plant.

A surprisingly useful farming setup is currently being shared in the Arknights: Endfield community, and judging by the replies, a lot of players are just now realizing the game even has a second farm.

Where to Find the Farms

As mentioned, there are two farms, one in Valley IV and one in Wuling. Both farms are unlocked via side quests, usually given by an NPC nearby.

  • Eco Farm (Valley IV / Originum Science Park)
    • Head to the Infra-Station Outpost. The farm is right on top of it
    • Unlocks via the “Farming Soil” Exploration Quest. Talk to the NPC called Vera nearby to unlock it.

  • Agricultural Test Site (Wuling / Wuling City)
    • Head to the Core AIC PAC area and walk up to the top right. You will cross a small gap between rocks to access it. The zone unlocks once you place down your CORE AIC through the main quest. When you enter the Agricultural Test Site zone, there are two NPCs you can talk to as well, Tian Min and Wellmorin.

A Good Reason to Farm Plants

Certain crops like rice, ginseng, and pepper cannot be placed in the Auto Planter. They have to go into the seeder manually, and that makes a proper farming setup far more valuable if you are trying to farm those efficiently.

More importantly, harvesting large amounts of specific plants contributes to one-time rewards in the Crafting manual. Those milestones grant Oroberyl, meaning this kind of farm is an easy way to steadily clear out crafting objectives without actively grinding overworld nodes.

For players who planted once and never went back (you are not alone), this might be worth revisiting.

Best Sprinkler Setup

A Reddit user recently shared a clean sprinkler layout built around 20 plots (10 rice, 10 ginseng), powered by a single pump and 10 sprinklers, plus a relay and pylons to keep everything running smoothly. The idea is simple: automate as much as possible so you are not constantly running across the map to manually gather plants.

Tips from the community also include grouping plots in blocks of 4 so teammates do not pick random plots, and placing sprinklers slightly out of the way to prevent units from getting stuck.

With this setup, your operators do most of the work, you hit crafting manual goals, and you slowly build up a stockpile of Oroberyl or other resources. Even if you have planted once and forgotten, these farms can be a nice little automation boost for your Endfield economy. You still have to go back regularly, but at least it keeps you from having to walk around the whole map for rice.

Low Effort, Steady Progress

For a game that is still relatively early in its lifecycle, little systems like farming can feel easy to ignore, especially once you move into late-game content.

But if you are trying to squeeze out extra Oroberyl or clear Crafting Manual milestones without running plant routes across the map, this structured sprinkler farm might be one of the more efficient setups available right now.
