The next main update for Arknights: Endfield is arriving on March 12, and it brings plenty of gameplay and quality-of-life changes. One update in particular will likely catch the attention of many players.
The developers confirmed that the patch will introduce new ways to earn Basic Headhunting Permits. For players hoping to expand their roster without relying entirely on premium currency, those are pretty welcome changes.
More Ways to Earn Pull Tickets

According to the official developer communication, a few systems in the game will start providing additional Basic Headhunting Permits once the update goes live.
First, the upcoming Protocol Pass: Dark Currents will now include permits in both the Basic Supply and Originium Supply reward tracks. That means players progressing through the pass will be able to pick up extra pulls along the way.
Two existing activities will also see improved rewards:
- Regional Stock Redistribution
- Etchspace Salvage
Both modes will start offering additional Basic Headhunting Permits, giving you more opportunities to earn them through regular gameplay.
A New Permanent Event for Free Pulls
The update will also introduce a new permanent event called Beginner’s Chartered Tribute.
Once players reach certain milestones in Chapter I of the main story, they will be able to collect rewards from the event, including a total of 10 Chartered Headhunting Permits.
For players who have already progressed past those story points, the rewards will be available immediately when the update launches.
The addition of more Headhunting Permits is definitely one of the most appreciated changes. For players saving up for future operators, every extra pull helps, especially if you plan to get Rossi or Tangtang.
