What other games would generally call an “Emergency Maintenance” hit Arknights: Endfield at 7pm Eastern Time today!
There will be 700 Oroberyl, 6 Emergency Sanity Boosters, and 20 Sanity Usage Permits issued as compensation. Only Endministrators who created their account before this maintenance will be able to claim the compensation.
Now, what actually changes with the update? One of the major improvements is stated to be about the AIC Simulation system, a thorn in many players’ sides. Once you unlock everything in the AIC Plan before doing the Simulations, you’ll be permitted to redeem all of the rewards from the Simulations without having to actually do them, by simply clicking the “Complete SIM” option. However, there are plans to introduce special medals in a future update for those players who finish the simulations fully, instead of skipping straight to the rewards.

Beyond the expected improvements to performance and a variety of bugfixes, the rest of the Patch Notes can largely be summarized as Chapter 1 being made easier. If you haven’t gotten towards the end of it yet, one of the changes might be a spoiler for you, so you may want to skip this line for now:
Spoilers
The final boss of Chapter 1, Marble Aggelomoirai, will be having its damage output reduced in its second phase.
In addition to this change, various enemies at Exploration Level 5 and under will be having their HP reduced. After all, there’s no reason for many of the trash mobs to be as tanky as they were. Players on social media have had mixed reactions about some of these changes (especially the spoilered one), but time will tell if it was for the best or not.
While this was an emergency maintenance for some quick fixes, there’s still no word on how a regular maintenance is going to work out, or what kind of compensation we can expect for it, so planning your pulls around maintenance compensation Oroberyl is currently not advised.

Below you can find the Patch Notes as seen in-game transcribed in full:
