Good morning, Endministrators! It’s time for Arknights: Endfield’s first version update, revealed in today’s Dev Log, and there’s a lot to talk about! We’ll be giving you a quick overview of everything that was announced today, and we’ll also be going into more detail in future posts as part of our Arknight: Endfield coverage, so keep your eyes peeled!
This morning, Light Zhong of Gryphline announced and went over the upcoming version 1.1 update for Arknights: Endfield called “Old Deep Water Dies by Rising Tide It is Denied“. It is quite a mouthful, but there’s a lot of content in it as well:
- Continuation of the Main Story
- New Region in Wuling: Qingbo Stockade
- 2 New Operators: Tangtang (6-star Cryo Caster) and Rossi (6-star Physical Guard)
- New Weapons, including signature weapons for Tangtang and Rossi
- New Protocol Pass, “Dark Currents”, featuring choice weapons for Tangtang and Rossi, as well as new Portrait and Profile Themes
- New array of Gear produced using the new Cuprium material and components
- A Narrative Event for Rossi, “The Red Knight”
- New Series for the Umbral Monument endgame mode, “Searing Scars”, featuring new, never-before-seen enemies of the Qingbo Stockade Region
- New Spatial Set for the Delver of the Cryptic mode, “Grotto Survey”
- New Etchspace Salvage expansion, “Aberrant Zone 4”
- New Wuling AIC Plan Update
- New Supply Event, “Supply: Exploration Day”
- A slew of Quality of Life updates and improvements
There will also be a couple of new Limited-Time Events, such as:
- New Guide Event, “Quietly Flows the Spring”
- New Fun & Games Event, “Cleanse and Rinse”
- New Challenge Event, “Survival Training”
We currently expect version 1.1 to launch on March 12th.
Wrapping Up
We’ll get more into depth with some of this in future articles, but here are some important notes.
- Pre-Event Sign-In Event opens before each new version, and will award Oroberyl and Basic Headhunting Permits.
- The new Protocol Pass will also include Basic Headhunting Permits at both the Basic Supply and Originium Supply levels.
- The Etchspace Salvage expansion will also award more Basic Headhunting Permits.
- The New Supply Event, “Supply: Exploration Day”, is a new daily activity that will award Oroberyls and other useful resources.
- There will be a new campaign for account progression to acquire 10 more Chartered Headhunting Permits.
