Light Zhong and Rua of Gryphline announced the new “At the Wake of Spring” Core Chapter Version 1.2 update today! This update brings with it a new character, new areas, AIC expansions, new gear, and more!
Zhuang Fangyi Enters in the Thunder of Renewal Banner!
Zhuang Fangyi is a new Electric Striker wielding Arts Units coming out with the version release on April 17th, 2026. However, in a surprising turn of events, Gryphline has declared that her banner will be running for the full 35 days of the version! That’s 5 whole weeks! She will be the only new character in this update. Simultaneously, there will be a second banner following yet-unknown rules that will feature the four Reconvener operators: Pogranichnik, Ardelia, Laevatain, and Gilberta. If you missed these characters in the past, you might consider trying for them this time! Especially Gilberta if you want to build a Zhuang Fangyi team.

Wuling AIC Plan III Releases Earlier Than Expected
The new Areas of the Wuling Region will feature this new Fluid resource, Precipitation Acid. Use this Fluid to process Cuprium into the 3rd Tier Component material of the Wuling region: Hetonite. Additionally, new processes will be available convert Xiranite into “Heavy Xiranite“. Use this for the 3rd Tier Batteries of Wuling.
Also, a new kind of event series called the AIC Production Event will debut in this version on April 28th. In this event, AIC Support: Palm-Top Savior, Outpost Exchanges will be boosted, and additional event currency will be rewarded to exchange for goods! Look forward to more information as it gets announced.
It’s a Cosmic Time to be Alive
As a continuation of the launch event where founding players will have their names sent up in a Satellite, we’re getting an in-game celebration! Players will be able to acquire special limited-time collectables, such as profile decorations, a statue for the Dijiang, and a special art for Perlica that you can feature in your office! Be sure not to miss this!
The Ultimate Challenge Teased for 1.3!
In a surprise final announcement for the stream, they revealed that Contingency Contract will be coming to Arknights: Endfield in the version 1.3 update! This super-challenging mode is carried over from the Arknights tower-defense title. This is the event where players should expect to truly test the mettle of their maxed-out characters against seemingly impossible challenges. Be sure to swing by for the best teams and strategies to face this event with!

While we’re unsure what’s happened to that Liberi that was on the pre-release roster, we’ve gotten the reveal of some amazing new operators. We have a Feranmut Proxy (likely of Sui origin, if I do say so myself), Mi Fu, and to our surprise, a Vampire Sarkaz from Ses’qa!
