If you have been waiting to farm in Arknights: Endfield, now is a good time to log in. A new limited-time Sanity Discount event is going live today, at 12:00 PM (server time), temporarily reducing the Sanity cost required to claim certain stage completion rewards.
In short, you can farm more efficiently for the next few days. You get the same amount of mats, but for less Sanity cost three times per day.
40 Sanity Reduction Per Claim
During the event period, claiming rewards from eligible stages will cost 40 fewer Sanity than usual. This is a big change, as it basically allows you to farm twice the amount.
There are a few limits to keep in mind:
- Up to 3 Sanity Discounts per day only
- Discounts reset daily at 4:00 AM (server time)
- If a discount is available, it will be used for the first 3 times of the day automatically. You cannot save the discount for the next day, or delay it, or anything like that
- Sanity Usage Permits cannot be used at the same time as a discount
So if you are planning to farm specific upgrade materials, it is worth using those three discounted claims every day instead of letting them expire.
Who Can Participate?
To access the event, you have to complete the main mission “Chapter I – Process II: Paving the Way.” If you already finished your main story, you are likely already eligible.
This is mostly a requirement that new players need to reach to unlock all the event functions.
A Good Farming Event
Sanity is one of the main “time gates” in Endfield. Even small reductions can significantly improve daily efficiency, especially if you are farming materials or preparing for upcoming characters like Tangtang or Rossi.
It is not a massive endgame content drop, but it is the kind of event that rewards players who log in consistently and run through all their dailies. It can also be a very good way to catch up on character or weapon upgrades!
