At first glance, Origeometry looks like the classic premium currency. This means that it is the kind you usually only get by opening your wallet. And to be fair, it is indeed Endfield’s main premium resource. But there is a small part that the game barely explains! It turns out that you can actually earn Origeometry for free just by playing.
You will not get ten thousand of it, but you do get enough to unlock important upgrades and even make some banner pulls if you are patient.
How to Get Origeometry
As mentioned, there are two main ways to obtain Origeometry: paid options and free in-game sources.
Paid Methods (Fastest)

If you spend money, Origeometry comes from the Originium Exchange in the Acquisition Center. This is the most reliable and consistent source, and it is clearly designed for players who want to pull banners more often.
You can also get extra Origeometry through the paid Protocol Pass. If you buy the €9.99 Protocol Pass, you get a total of 40 Origeometry back.
Free Ways to Get Origeometry
This is where many players get confused because the game does not highlight it well at all. If you do not pay attention, nothing really tells you that you get the paid currency for free. For those who are used to playing gacha games, typically, this is not something that is usually given. However, Arknights: Enfield decided to do it differently!

As a free-to-play player, you can earn Origeometry through the following content:
- Main story missions
- Some story missions reward small amounts of Origeometry directly. This is a fairly easy way to accumulate some over time, as you will just get them when you progress your main quest.

- Protocol Pass (free track upgrade) – This one is important.
- If you save 29 Origeometry (that you got from doing your story, for example), you can upgrade the Protocol Pass to the middle tier without spending real money.
- If you complete it, you actually get 32 Origeometry back, meaning you gain more than you spent, so you definitely want to do that each time.
- Be careful and make sure you can complete the full Pass on time, however.

- Submitting Aurylene at TP points
- Aurylene are white, glowing orbs scattered across maps. When you submit them at fast travel points, you get a few Origeometry as a reward.

- Sub-Energy Alluviums
- These are rift-like activities found in the open world. They do not seem to guarantee Origeometry every time, but they can reward some.
None of these sources gives huge amounts on its own, but together they add up naturally as you play. It remains a solid way to save up on Origeometry for free.
What Should You Spend Origeometry On?
This is where you have to be smart, especially if you are free-to-play.
- Upgrade the Protocol Pass (29 Origeometry)
- This should be your first goal as a free player. You get your Origeometry back and extra rewards. The other rewards from getting the middle pass include a weapon selector, so it is definitely worth it.
- Convert to Oroberyl for banners
- Origeometry can be converted at a rate of 1 Origeometry = 75 Oroberyl. This is the currency used for character pulls. As a F2P player, just make sure you always keep enough for the next Protocol Pass.
- Sanity refreshes
- You can convert Origeometry into Sanity, but it is rarely worth it.
- Sanity regenerates naturally at 1 per minute, so using premium currency here is very inefficient. Unless you can afford to spend a lot of money in the game, we really do not recommend it.
Origeometry is not just a paid currency, it is a limited but definitely meaningful resource for free players too. If you play regularly, collect Aurylene, clear story content, and manage your Protocol Pass wisely, you will slowly build up Origeometry without spending a cent.
Use it carefully, prioritize long-term value, and you will get far more out of it than the game initially lets on.
