With the 1.1 patch in Arknights: Endfield, Wuling finally got some additional content, such as a new zone, a higher Outpost level cap, and a few new Regional Development levels. You can now raise it up to level 9 and collect those nice rewards, including some well-deserved Oroberyls for Tangtang or Rossi!
But as a lot of players have noticed, reaching level 9 is not exactly obvious. There is no real in-game hint showing what is missing, and that can make things quite confusing.
You Need to Max Out Everything
Once you know what to do, it is pretty straightforward. The best way is to simply go over every main functionality in Wuling and check what you forgot to level up after the update. Basically, every building and system in Wuling needs to be maxed. This means that you need:
- Outpost Level 3
- Depot Level 3
- All new and old mining spots
- Recycling stations
- Stock redistribution
- Environment Monitoring Terminal
Unlike Valley IV, Wuling introduces the Environment Monitoring terminal, and this is usually what players forget. It is hidden away in a corner of the map, and many players (myself included) forget to level it, but it is required to push Regional Development to 9. Once that terminal hits level 3, your Wuling region finally reaches max development.
So if you are stuck at level 8 and you already leveled your Outpost and everything else, double-check that terminal! It is easy to overlook, but it is often the last piece you need to hit that sweet level 9 cap.
