Is Rossi Worth Pulling in Arknights: Endfield?

Arknights: Endfield Rossi

A new banner is about to drop in Arknights: Endfield, and this time, it is Rossi stepping in as the featured character.

She goes live on March 29, and she looks like a pretty straightforward damage dealer. But once you check out her kit, it is clear she is built around a very specific role, and that is going to matter a lot when deciding if she is worth your pulls.

You only get so much per patch, and if you are F2P, it is almost impossible to obtain all the characters, unless you are really lucky. And with the amazing characters that are going to arrive after Rossi, it might be a good moment to evaluate your own situation and decide if you really need her or not.

Arknights: Endfield Operator Story – Rossi

Rossi is a Physical Guard focused almost entirely on single-target damage, but she does not just brute force her way through fights.

Her whole kit revolves around applying Vulnerability, then capitalizing on it. Once enemies are debuffed, she starts triggering follow-up attacks, stacking extra damage on top, and even adding damage over time. On top of that, her ultimate hits hard with Heat damage, making her particularly strong in boss fights.

The important part here is that Rossi doesn’t really function at her best on her own. She gets significantly stronger when your team can consume her vulnerable stacks, since she does not consume those on her own. In the right team, Rossi looks like a very solid pick, especially if you are struggling with single-target damage.

Rossi works particularly well with:

You can play Rossi with Laevatain, but keep in mind that she might consume Arts debuffs that Laevatain would want to keep, and their combos do not really synergize. Basically, you want to pull Rossi if:

  • You play Physical or mixed Physical and Elemental teams
  • You want strong single-target damage
  • You need fast Vulnerability stacking

But you can skip Rossi if you prefer elemental-specific teams like Cryo or Electric.

The Bigger Question: Do You Really Need Her?

This is where things get a bit more situational.

Rossi is strong at what she does, but what she does is pretty specific. If your teams already lean toward elemental-focused setups, especially something like full Electric or Cryo, she is not going to slot in naturally.

And that matters even more with upcoming banners in mind. Early expectations suggest that characters like Mi Fu and Zhuang Fangyi could lean into Electric teams, and they might be a better investment depending on where you are heading. And even in current Physical teams, the reality is that Endmin’s best team with Pogranichnik, Lifeng, and Chen already works perfectly, and there is very little room for Rossi. And regarding Wulfgard, he might be Rossi’s bigger brother, but he is currently best teamed up with Laevatain. And that leaves Rossi pretty much alone.

If you are looking for a strong single-target operator and you already have the pieces to support her debuff playstyle, she is a must-pull. But if you are planning for future banners or focusing on elemental teams, there is a good argument for saving instead.

She is good. Just not universally necessary, and that is really what it comes down to. However, lore-wise, Rossi is also an extremely lovable operator, so if you just like the character and want to play a Catello team with her and Wulfgard, you should definitely do so!
