How to Play Tangtang in Arknights: Endfield
As a Cryo Caster, Tangtang serves as a Sub-DPS for Cryo teams. However, she also offers powerful Crowd Control that anyone could appreciate.

Tangtang’s Basic Attack, I’LL BLOW YOUR MIND!, directly deals Cryo Damage, making her a strong Active Character pick in Cryo Teams running Cryo Amp and Cryo Susceptibility.

IMA WAVERIDAAH!, Tangtang’s Battle Skill, is her core move. It converts Whirlpools into Waterspouts that strike the enemy, applying Cryo Infliction and dealing Cryo Damage over time. She applies Arts Susceptibility with this skill as well, giving her access to high uptime with this damage-boosting debuff.

The Whirlpools are produced by Tangtang’s Combo Skill, RIVER, TO ME! When Cryo Infliction or Cryo Burst is dealt to an enemy, Tangtang’s Combo Skill is triggered. This skill will deal Cryo Damage to enemies in a range, then deploy a Whirlpool in the area.
While not written in the provided information, Rua, the Level Designer for Arknights: Endfield, stated during the broadcast that the Whirlpools also apply Slow to nearby enemies. These Whirlpools are then consumed by either her Battle Skill or Ultimate to become Waterspouts, spinning typhoons of Cryo Damage.

Tangtang’s Ultimate, DA CHIEF SEES YOU!, is a special one. She’ll do Cryo Damage in a wide area at the beginning and end of its duration. This move will pause enemies within its area of effect for the duration. This even works on bosses! When the Active Operator performs a Dive Attack, the skill will conclude its duration prematurely, dealing additional damage.

Tangtang’s 2nd Talent is Riot Bringer. This enables Tangtang to also convert Whirlpools into Waterspouts that deal more damage than usual when the Active Operator Dive Attack’s to end her Ultimate early.

Tangtang’s Signature Handcannons are the Brigand’s Calling. There are currently no details on these, but look forward to more information in the coming days — right here on Icy Veins!
