Gear up, Vault Hunters, Borderlands 4 has dropped its latest set of weekly endgame activities! Once you have finished the campaign, the grind does not stop in this game.
This week, players can take on two new challenges designed to push your build to the maximum of its capacity, and shower you with loot!
Big Encore Boss – Shadow Pelt
Big Encore Bosses are weekly rotating boss fights that everyone can take on. Each one is a tougher variant of an existing boss with a more rewarding loot pool. You will find them through Moxxi’s Big Encore Machine. If you are ready for a rematch with a higher challenge and bigger rewards, this is your ticket.
This week’s challenge is Shadow Pelt, and it promises some serious loot if you can take it down.
Wildcard Mission – Shadow on the Mountain
Wildcard Missions are additional missions that will add some twist to existing ones by adding special enemy traits that change completely how the fight plays out. Every player gets the same Wildcard each week. This way, the community can exchange strategies and work together to figure out the best approach.
The best part is that those Wildcard Missions always feature a guaranteed Legendary drop. This week, the prize is the fan-favorite Hellwalker shotgun, and you can farm it repeatedly until you land the roll you want.
Keep in mind that in order to unlock Wildcard Missions, you first need to complete the main campaign. The missions reset every Thursday at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
Borderlands 4’s endgame is definitely going to keep Vault Hunters engaged week after week. With scaling difficulty and repeatable Legendary rewards, these updates give players strong reasons to return even after the campaign is over, and we love it!
