Gear up, Vault Hunters, there is a new gunslinger in town. Gearbox just revealed C4SH, the first of two new Vault Hunters coming to Borderlands 4 as part of paid Story Pack DLCs, and he is straight out of a dusty, dice-rolling Wild West.
Who Is C4SH
If you spotted a mysterious silhouette in the Post-Launch Roadmap, the wait is over. C4SH is a skeleton cowboy who lives for chaos! A roll of the dice, a flip of a card, and a spin of the chamber are all part of his unpredictable style.

When Can You Play C4SH
C4SH will be joining your Vault Hunter roster in Q1 2026. There is no specific date yet. Here is how to get him:
- Own (or upgrade to) the Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition
- Own the Vault Hunter Pack (included in Super Deluxe Edition)
- Own Story Pack 1: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned (included in Vault Hunter Pack)
Story Packs are paid post-launch DLCs included with the Borderlands 4 Vault Hunter Pack and the Super Deluxe Edition. They can also be purchased separately (but you need the base game). Specific release dates for each Story Pack will be announced later and may change.
