This guide is part of our Vault Key Fragment series, and will help you collect all the fragments in the Carcadia Burn zone, so you can claim the rewards hidden inside the Primordial Vaults. You can find more information on the other areas and their Vault Key Fragment locations here:
Lopside
The first Carcadia Burn Vault Key Fragment can be found in the center of the Lopside area as shown in the image below.
To find the key fragment, travel to the Makeshift Chalet Safehouse and follow the road south. Not too far down the road you should find a large dump truck attached to a house, with Rippers lurking nearby. Follow the Dead Bolt icon on the map and climb on top of the dump truck, where you will find a long dining table containing both the Vault Key Fragment and a Dead Bolt collectible as a bonus for your troubles.
Tonnage Peel
The the next Vault Key Fragment can be found in a hidden underground wreckage in Tonnage Peel.
To get to the fragment, start by heading west from The Lowrise Safehouse until you find the Wreck of the Last Great Hope. Once you find the large wreckage, go north onto the road and follow it counter-clockwise to find a tunnel leading underneath the wreckage.
Once you find the tunnel, head directly into the center and look for a vent on the floor. Use your Grapple to remove the vent and move through the newly-revealed area.
After running through the new tunnel for a bit, you will find the Vault Key Fragment on a pedestal at the end of the wreckage.
Ruined Sumplands
The last Carcadia Burn Vault Key Fragment can be found hidden under a bridge in the Ruined Sumplands.
Fast Travel to the Wildhorn’s Beard Safehouse and head west. Once you approach the south side of the nearby bridge, jump off the west side and into the shallow water. Turn east towards the base of the bridge to find the final Vault Key Fragment hiding on a pedestal.
With all three Vault Key Fragments in hand, you can now head for the Carcadia Burn Primordial Vault!
