Based on the recent Kakao Games Fourth Quarter Earnings Announcement, we now have a better idea on when we can expect the full launch of Chrono Odyssey.
Based on the presentation shared, multiple games seem to have their previously proposed launch dates shifted – including Chrono Odyssey.
According to this information, Chrono Odyssey is now planned to be released in Q1 2027 (image below).
The reasoning? Similar to what was shared with the previous delay – they team at Kakao Games want to make sure all feedback and optimizations are fully complete and incorporated in the final product of Chrono Odyssey.
Within the meeting, it was also shared that, “Chrono Odyssey will repeatedly conduct core testing centered on the Western region, focusing on completeness and stability.”
What does this mean? Well, it could very well mean that we have multiple testing periods coming throughout the year, but time will tell!
Yes, it may be sad to hear that we all have to wait a little bit longer for Chrono Odyssey, but these things take time. It’s more important than ever to ensure that the launch of this game is a success, especially after so many other titles within the genre seemed to rush their launches (and we saw how that went).
No official dates on the next Closed Beta Test (CBT) have been shared yet but stay tuned for more updates regarding the future of Chrono Odyssey.
