General Information

On this page, we explain everything that is specific to the Speed Farming variant of Marauder Cluster Arrow Demon Hunter. Updated for patch 2.6.1 and Season 12.

The other pages of our Marauder Cluster Arrow Demon Hunter guide can be accessed from the table of contents on the right.

1. SpeedFarming

The Marauder Demon Hunter deals with regular Rift farming decently all the way through the highest Torments, making it a viable build for the task.

Within the limited scope of regular difficulties, the necessary damage and toughness to triumph over the enemy is significantly smaller. Thus, your best course of action is to improve utility and speed.

2. Adapting Skills

Passive Skills

In regular Rift runs, your clear speed will increase to a point where proccing Cull the Weak Cull the Weak through Polar Station Polar Station is too slow in practice, so you can safely switch to Spitfire Turret Spitfire Turret for a slight increase of burst.

For convenience during farming content, you should swap into Multishot Multishot Arsenal Arsenal (like in the video demonstration) for a fire-and-forget screenwide AoE.

Note that Ballistics Ballistics will synergize with a regular Rift farming variation as well, considering the rocket-oriented Multishot Multishot Arsenal Arsenal.

3. Adapting Gear

When doing non-threatening content, it is advisable to swap away from the safe choice of Wraps of Clarity Wraps of Clarity into speedrun-appropriate bracers like Nemesis Bracers Nemesis Bracers or Warzechian Armguards Warzechian Armguards, speeding up your clears with more frequent elites and environment destruction speed boosts respectively.

To match the demands of the content, you should change weapons for a Multishot Multishot Marauder variation and equip Yang's Recurve Yang's Recurve, whose resource cost reduction unique property will ensure carefree spam of AoE and Vault Vault mobility.

4. Adapting Gemming

Your third gem slot in regular Rifts should be taken by Boon of the Hoarder Boon of the Hoarder. This high utility gem feeds you practically infinite gold and gives you a massive short-term speed boost while picking it up, automated by a cubed Avarice Band Avarice Band. It can also render you practically invulnerable if you opt for a cubed Goldwrap Goldwrap.

5. Adapting Kanai's Cube

During regular Rift farming, your armor Cube slot should be taken by whichever utility bracer you are missing from your equipment — either Nemesis Bracers Nemesis Bracers or Warzechian Armguards Warzechian Armguards. If you truly feel you need the toughness, you can also make the most out of your Boon of the Hoarder Boon of the Hoarder and cube a Goldwrap Goldwrap, which makes you practically invulnerable in any type of content that still drops gold.

Finally, you can substitute Convention of Elements Convention of Elements for Avarice Band Avarice Band to gain a considerable movement speed bonus from a gemmed Boon of the Hoarder Boon of the Hoarder.
