<p>For the rankings, we&#8217;re using a site called <a href="https://www.d4race.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">d4race.com</a>. The list is manually curated, so there may be some inconsistencies.</p>

<p>Blizzard have jumped in to clarify how Game Sharing works for couch co-op in the Early Access period of the Diablo 4 launch.</p>

<p>Users who purchase a Deluxe/Ultimate Edition on an account should use that same account to host couch co-op sessions during the Early Access period. This ensures the guest player can join and participate in co-op.</p>
<p>Accounts that weren’t the original purchaser of Deluxe/Ultimate Edition of the game on that console will not be able to play in Early Access unless they join as a second player with the account that made the original purchase.</p>

Blizzard Clarifies Game Sharing Issues


<p>This topic has popped up a lot in the Diablo community over the past few hours, so we thought we should cover it. Those that participated in the Diablo 4 betas and completed the requirements for the Wolf Pup and/or Cry of Ashava mount trophy will not simply be getting them directly into their inventory. </p>



<p>What you need to do for the Wolf Pup is go to Kyovashad (or any city with a wardrobe), head to the stash area and access the wardrobe. Here you can change your character&#8217;s look, including transmogs, and the Wolf Pup is a back customization option. You can find it under &#8220;items&#8221;.</p>

How to Get Diablo 4 Beta and Pre-Order Rewards In-Game


<p>Many PlayStation players have run into a particularly problematic issue with their Diablo 4 client. It seems for some the game&#8217;s license isn&#8217;t recognized and they cannot play. And while <a href="https://twitter.com/Diablo/status/1664420939982073856" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Blizzard are aware of the issue and working on a fix</a>, the community has come up with one of their own. </p>



<p>Now, this isn&#8217;t guaranteed to work, but it&#8217;s pretty easy to do so it&#8217;s definitely worth a try. We&#8217;ve seen many players confirm it works for them, but also a few that said it did not. What you need to do is simply download any game or DLC and then re-try Diablo 4. There are variations on this from different players, from not even finishing the download and cancelling it immediately, to just finding a small game you have or a free one, downloading it completely, starting it, and then running D4. </p>



<p>Most players that have had this work went with downloading a small free game.</p>



<p>Update 2: here&#8217;s another very easy and very fast method:</p>

Diablo 4 Early Access Is LIVE!


<p>We&#8217;re less than two hours away from the Early Access launch of D4! The community has been preparing with the classic launch bingo cards predicting what&#8217;s going to happen at launch. (Plays for 48 hours straight)&#8221;, &#8220;I did not receive my trophy from beta&#8221;, &#8220;&#8221;Look at what I found&#8221; <em>posts random lvl 25 rare</em>&#8220;, &#8220;Gems take up space in the inventory. Diablo 4 Launch Bingo Cards and Salt Tier List


<p>We have found the mother lode! These maps of Sanctuary include pretty much everything you could need out of a map (and then some). From the dungeons and cellars to the sub-zones, legendary aspects, events, quests, vendors, and much, much more &#8211; you&#8217;ll find anything you need in there. </p>



<p>Now, not everything is updated in either of these two maps, as there&#8217;s much more to be discovered when the game actually releases. Each has their own filters and look, so let&#8217;s dive in. First off we&#8217;re taking a look at the <a href="https://mapgenie.io/diablo-4/maps/sanctuary" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MapGenie</a> one. We&#8217;ll first take a look with everything on, just to get a sense of how much there is in there.</p>

<p>Joking aside, you can easily hide all those markers with one click, and then select the ones you want. There really isn&#8217;t much that isn&#8217;t covered, aside from the new World Bosses (which you can find <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/">in our zone guides</a>) and new additions that will arrive with the launch. MapGenie also has a mobile app version. </p>



<p>Next we have the <a href="https://diablo4.wiki.fextralife.com/Interactive+Map" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Fextralife map</a>, and it&#8217;s just as busy with everything turned on, but luckily it&#8217;s all off by default.</p>

<p>Most of us remember the horror of Diablo 3 &#8211; and we don&#8217;t mean the game&#8217;s themes or blood, or demons. The franchise&#8217;s third installment had a legendarily bad launch. Players were unable to log in for hours, with the dreaded Error 37 even getting <a href="https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/error-37" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">its own meme</a>. That was all mostly due to Blizzard <a href="https://www.pcgamesn.com/diablo-iii/diablo-3s-josh-mosqueria-on-launch-failures-mistakes-and-the-road-to-redemption" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">not expecting the sheer amount of players</a> that arrived, but it seems things are different with Diablo 4. </p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Blizzard Really Confident for Launch</h4>



<p>In <a href="https://www.eurogamer.net/blizzard-really-confident-of-smooth-diablo-4-launch-following-server-stress-tests" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">an interview with Eurogamer</a> right after the recent Server Slam beta, Art Director John Mueller and Associate Game Director Joe Piepiora talked about the stability of the game on launch. Here&#8217;s the headline, from Mueller, talking about the three betas:</p>



<p class="has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color">&#8220;<em>Each one, it&#8217;s a tonne of work to put them on,&#8221; Mueller said. &#8220;It&#8217;s not a trivial thing for us to do. But we see the value as being worth it. And again, it&#8217;s not a marketing thing. It&#8217;s really about getting that information so we know day one is going to be as good as we can possibly make it, and that we just feel confident going in.</em></p>



<p class="has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color"><em>So, currently right now we feel really confident.</em>&#8220;</p>



<p>Piepiora also talked about the success and value of the Server Slam specifically:</p>



<p class="has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color">&#8220;And we learned a tonne. Even this last one where it was really smooth &#8211; people didn&#8217;t have long queues leading into getting into the experience &#8211; we still found things happening in the back end that if left unresolved, would have resulted in some issues during the launch experience. We caught those only because we did this extra weekend.&#8221;</p>

<p><br>We have seen the Server Slam work really well already, with basically no long queues. That was a huge improvement over the initials two betas, so if launch will be even better than that, Blizzard&#8217;s confidence isn&#8217;t unwarranted. </p>



<p>Hopefully that confidence translates into a smooth launch, as there will be many players itching to get in! We won&#8217;t have to wait long to find out, as the game&#8217;s Early Access <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/diablo-4-launch-information-pre-load-twitch-drops-launch-schedule-and-more/">releases tomorrow</a>! </p>
