The holiday season hasn’t just flooded into normal life, it’s landed in Eorzea as well! Final Fantasy XIV‘s Starlight Celebration has arrived once again, so put on that Santa glam and get those seasonal rewards while you’re at it. Here’s what to know:
Quest Location & Rewards
As with previous years, the Starlight Celebration quest starts in Old Gridania, at Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre (X: 10.2, Y: 9.4). Just talk to Amh Garanjy to get started.
Players only need to complete the quest “We Three Kinderpunsch” to receive the seasonal reward. As long as you’re at least Level 15 and can access Old Gridania, you can complete this quest. 👍
The story revolves around creating regional mulled punch variations for the kids of Gridania to enjoy. Personally, I’d prefer something with a bit of kick, but what can you do? Once the quest is complete, you’ll get Ballroom Etiquette – Local Libations emote unlock. This allows your character to sip (or /gulp) on a mug of mulled punch, decked out with the décor of your favorite starting city.
You’ll also get access to the Starlight Stalls, a Christmas Market-themed area perfect for holiday GPosing. There, you’ll gain access to a couple of vendors selling dyes, dark matter, and more season items. If you have access to apartments or housing, you can buy stacks of Starlight mugs, or even consumable versions for your abode. And for the story enthusiasts, you can find various characters from across Eorzea browsing the stalls.
Starlight Celebration lasts until December 31st at 6:59 AM PST. Don’t forget to complete it before the New Year celebrations start!
